Job Title: Commissioning Instrument Supervisor

Job Description

  • He shall liaise with engineering/construction disciplines, to follow-up with field instrumentation and instrument packages construction and installation activities carried out by FPSO Contractor and his subcontractors, ensuring that installations are fit for purpose.
  • He shall participate and/or witness instrumentation pre-commissioning activities for cabling, field instruments and packages, as commissioning representative.
  • He shall participation in commissioning subsystem preliminary checks, may include review of RFC dossier to ensure completeness of subsystem pre-commissioning leading to “Ready for Commissioning” Certification.
  • He shall supervise FPSO Contractor during Instrumentation commissioning activities including reviews of commissioning dossier (including OTPs), witnessing and participation in basic function testing, loop tests, instrument packages SATs and operational tests.
  • He shall assist the Commissioning ICSS & Instrument Lead in his duties, when delegated, covering instrumentation commissioning activities. He may also attend meetings as required by his Management.
  • He shall follow-up and monitors work program and schedule in his discipline. He reviews schedule and advises his Manager of any potential drifts and delays.
  • He shall ensure validation of ICAPS sheets and monitors that tasks sheets are properly completed and check the RFC dossiers.
  • He supervises and follow-up with clearance of punch items by Contractor.He shall ensure that Commissioning Master documentations are properly marked-up and prepared for “As Built” documentation.
  • Ensure contractors PTW procedures and practices are in line with Company expectations. He ensures that the test equipment used has valid certificates and are in good and safe conditions.

Job Requirements

  • At least 8 years involved in instrumentation commissioning and related activities in FPSO or similar offshore Projects.
  • Education: Technical degree/diploma in Instrumentation or related discipline preferred.
  • Knowledge of ICAPS database is an advantage.

Job Title: Offshore Marine Superintendent – Expatriate

Location: Nigeria

Description

  • The Marine Superintendent provides expertise in the specialist field of marine engineering and operations to support Deepwater District marine activity as required by directives EP19, DGEP General Policy for Marine Operations, CR LSO 200 and Marine Operations Standards.
  • Ensure all operations under Service holder’s supervision are conducted safely and within agreed SLA’s.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Manager of Deepwater Marine regarding Marine Operations and Vessels’ status.
  • Ensure Dynamic Positioning follow-up as well as DP audits for the Fleet of COMPANY.
  • TAMO CAMO for all DP vessels

Technical assistance:

  • Schedule, plan, prepare, manage and supervise various offshore marine operations, and provide Company Marine Representation for marine engineering related equipment; liaising with Line Management and Client Departments as necessary. Advise Offshore Installation Managers for the Marines Operations (loading & unloading cargoes, transfer of pax…)
  • Provide Marine expertise to all departments offshore (Drilling, Projects and Production) concerning marine related activities
  • Monitor the operation of all Deepwater vessels.

Method:

  • Ensure the implementation and application of the COMPANY Marine procedures (guidelines on approach to Offshore installations, etc.), CMS and COMPANY HSE rules by Contractors
  • Assist with the development and propose revision of marine procedures in compliance with the Company CMS
  • Monitor and propose corrective actions to Marine related anomaly reports and vessels action trackers
  • Continually monitor the fast crew boat activities with referent Captains of the contractors.
  • Assist contractor Marine operations, procedure analysis and follow up of their application on site

Inspections/audit/condition:

  • Conduct OVID inspections for COMPANY.
  • Conduct and/or organise Entry Permit
  • DP

DP annual trials:

  • Assist with all marine auditing requirements, which includes auditing of a wide range of offshore vessels, such as MODU’s and DSV and other specialist vessels, and contractors’ management systems, ensuring full compliance with Company CMS
  • Inspect on Quarterly basis the boat landings and issue a comprehensive report regarding their conditions.
  • Conduct inspection of potential and contracted vessels and assessment of the crew
  • Provide feedback for Marine Contract Service Quality Meetings.

Job Requirements

  • Class 1 Master’s certificate (STCW95) for seagoing vessel
  • 10 years experience as Chief Officer and Captain on Offshore Vessels (AHTS, PSV, IMR) with Full DPO Certificate
  • Hold valid OVID inspector accreditation
  • Experience in organisation, planning of personnel transport & logistics
  • Proven record of achievement within marine operations.

Job Title: Cost Control Officer

Job Description
Generic:

  • Prepares annual budget (both Corporate & Partner) for entity in conjunction with technical responsible
  • Prepares revised forecast information based on latest work scope
  • Participates in NAPIMS Sub-Committee meetings to defend Budget / Performance in order to achieve the necessary approvals
  • Prepares all necessary documentation for the month end closure (manual accrual’s, SKF’s, etc.) to ensure an accurate financial performance
  • Ensures all tasks are carried out in order to achieve SOX compliance
  • Prepares monthly cost report with variance analysis to help technical responsible manage their budgets / costs
  • Provides monthly information for the NAPIMS cash call to ensure sufficient funding for the activities
  • Process and verify invoices to ensure timely payment
  • Schedules meetings monthly to discuss reports and finance related issues with Technical responsible.
  • Ad hoc variance analysis for District management / Corporate Finance

Specific:

  • Periodic reconciliation of FORTUNA figures in line with the various Budget/PDC sessions with budget responsibles.
  • Liaise with entities that have delegated budgets for exploration activities (Drilling and ECP).
  • Creation of RFS purchase orders and maintenance of schedules for proper cost follow up.
  • Liaise with Deep water cost controllers / technical responsible for reconciliation of shared services and associated costs.

Accountabilities:

  • Supports the entity in financial matters so the technical personnel fully understands their budget / performance
  • Ensures all financial information is captured in an accurate, compliant and timely manner

HSE Objectives:

  • Familiarize self with COMPANY emergency procedures and report to the Manager any incident, unsafe act or operation.
  • Carry out assigned duties safely according to COMPANY HSE procedures in such a manner to minimize / eliminate unsafe exposure to self or fellow workers.

Job Requirements

  • 5 years Finance / Cost Control experience
  • B.Sc in a Finance or other business related discipline
  • Good systems knowledge, especially SAP and Excel
  • Good interpersonal / analytical skills
