Hays – Our client, has been a leading Manufacturer and Distributor of Beverages (Carbonated Soft Drinks) in Sub Sahara Africa for over 60 years and in Nigeria, their largest operation where they currently operate (9) plants.

Job Title: Organisational Excellence Manager

Job Role
Lead the Operations, business process and continuous improvement initiatives at the company by evaluating, designing, executing, measuring, monitoring and controlling the company processes.

Functional Responsibilities
Identify and create business processes
Establish, implement and sustain the process and business continual improvement strategy
Challenge existing processes and drive/implement change as required. Lead and drive process and business improvements initiatives across the business, fostering a partnership approach to ensure adoption of improved and new process and procedures
Manage and lead all phases of the business process improvement life cycle
Facilitate workshops to understand business process requirements
Implement business controls and review audits
Identify and work collaboratively with the HR team to make enhancements to the skills development programs and reward systems that will drive business results and improvements

Qualifications & Requirements
University Degree in Engineering or business related field and MBA would be an advantage
Master Black belt holder
Lean, Continuous Improvement and business operations experience in manufacturing, big brands or consulting
International experience desirable
Successful managerial experience with increasing levels of responsibility
Experience with dealing with conflict in a cross functional environment


Job Title: Manufacturing Manager (CSD/Beverages)

Reporting to: The General Manager (Manufacturing)

Job Description
Our client, is in need of an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead the technical functions on multiple-sites in country by implementing a best practice manufacturing environment across all their plants that would ensure the continued improvement of the operations, by introducing systems and processes designed to provide accurate and timely reports

Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure the preparation of accurate operating budgets for the manufacturing department (regional)
Prepare the annual objectives of the manufacturing department
Strengthen the organizational structure at plant level, particularly the engineering capability by building a solid pipeline for key technical positions
Establish and supervise the Maintenance Management System in the plants
Review and approve CAPEX and infrastructure projects for manufacturing
Develop and implement a Quality/Environmental plan to ensure compliance with quality assurance programs including environmental and safety requirements.

Requirements
HND/B.Sc in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, with 15 years of technical experience of which at least 10 years as a manufacturing/plant manager (preferably in a food/beverage company)
An understanding of bottling line machine technology would be advantageous
You would have worked in a CSD environment, been in charge of multi-sites and have shown a clear progression in your career from being on the production lines solving technical issues to being in charge of CAPEX and implementing technical projects.
