Job Title: Purchasing Officer

Duties
- The Procurement Officer will be responsible for overseeing purchasing and supply management in the procurement and logistics unit
- The procurement officer will also provide administrative assistance to the procurement manager.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements
- Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists
- Ensure timely delivery of quality products and services at the lowest possible cost
- Conduct comparative analysis on suppliers’ prices
- Identify and drive cost savings opportunities to reduce inventory and other related costs
- Support the Procurement Manager to review and evaluate the performance of suppliers.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree/HND
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Required Skills:
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Must be exceptional in the use of Microsoft Office. Especially Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to maintain good business relationships and establish new ones with vendors, suppliers and manufacturers
- Ability to use Tally ERP 9 Accounting Software will be a major advantage
- Must be punctual, organized and goal oriented
- Good command of English (Written and spoken) is mandatory

- Good command of php, Mysql, Ajax, JQuery, CSS, HTML5, bootstrap
- Must be able to use at least one php framework. (E.g Drupal 8, Yii2 , Sympony, CakePHP, etc)
- Ability to program in other programming languages is an added advantage.
- Good Understanding of user experience architecture.
