Blue Lodge Catering Limited, a fast moving bakery, pastry and restaurant located on the Island, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Pastry & Bakery Chef
His/Her role will include but not limited to the following:
- Instructs and trains bakery employees on the proper procedures and techniques for the creation of attractive, professional pastry item.
- Inspects all bakery items upon completion to ensure they have been prepared correctly and attractively.
- Works with Executive Pastry Chef to take appropriate action to reduce operating costs without affecting quality of pastries or service
- Helps Executive Pastry Chef develop and research new recipes and creates decorative cakes, statuaries and ornaments for special events, parties, and banquets
- An Ideal candidate with over 5 years experience as a Bakery/Pastry chef
- Candidate should be experienced in producing french barguettes, french rolls, sandwich roll, various types of cakes, rolls, breads, sweets, desserts etc
