Job Title: Technician
Location:

Job Description
  • We require the services of an experienced Technician to join her Engineering team in overseeing the operations and maintenance of machines at the factory.
Responsibilities
  • Carry out all operational activities as directed by your line Manager.
  • Inspect mechanical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Notify the Utility Engineer of any issue that may arise on continued operation of equipment.
  • Conducting machine/Equipment audit at intervals to ascertain their operational efficiency index.
  • Carry out all other specialized functions to meet the on-going need of the organization.
  • Carry out routine maintenance on equipments and systems to ensure effective deliveries.
  • Carry out some minor weddings as instructed by your line Manager.
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
  • Diagnose cause of mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Qualifications
  • OND Mechanical /Electrical Engineering
  • 1-3 years of practical experience in food processing company.
  • Should have general knowledge of factory mechanical machinery, plant and equipment.
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Ota, Ogun
Job Description
  • Due to expansion of operations, we require the services of an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team in overseeing the operations and maintenance of machines at the factory.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a B.Sc/HND Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in food processing company.
  • Should have general knowledge of factory mechanical machinery, plant and equipment.
  • Extensive practical experience in Mechanical Engineering in a production environment.
Skills:
  • Good practical and technical skills

  • Ability to manage a varied workload
  • Awareness of health and safety legislation.
  • Good communication skills
  • An understanding of engineering drawings and principles
  • Ability to work quickly and under pressure

Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain and repair production plant and equipment.
  • Repair of plant and equipment to ensure minimum downtime to production.
  • Fault finding and diagnosis of issues with a view of resolving them.
  • Work with expatriate Engineers to install new plants and ensure replacement of plant and equipment.
  • Record maintenance activities carried out on plant and equipment.
  • Calibration of plant and equipment within ISO 9001 standards.
  • Ensure all maintenance operations are carried out in accordance with safety and quality procedures, risk assessment and safe systems of work.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
  • 24 hour call out support when required.
  • Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns
