Qualifications
- B.A in Russian Studies (Masters degree is a major advantage)
- Membership of professional body an added advantage
- Ability to be effective in a team and independently is a major advantage.
- At least 5 years experience in conference interpreting. (VERY ESSENTIAL)
- Previous Experience in working with international organisations like ECOWAS, UN,, EU, AU is highly essential.
The ideal candidate should be highly experienced in:
- Consecutive Interpreting (Long or Classic Consecutive and Sequential or Short Interpreting)
- Professional Interpretation
- Relay Interpreting
- Remote Interpreting
- Sight Translation
- Simultaneous Interpretation
- Video Conference Interpreting.
- Conference Call Interpreting
- Conference Interpreting
- Escort Interpreting
- Note-taking
- On-Site Interpreting
