About the Role
  • Andela is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the Technology Department as we build out and execute Andela’s product roadmap, and contribute to the continuing growth of our team of African technology leaders.
  • In particular, this Product Manager would be focused on solutions that support our learning management and tracking needs.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
  • Collaborate closely with the Learning Department and other key stakeholders to understand the vision, needs and problems that must be solved in order to effectively scale our learning efforts and programs.
  • Manage the product roadmap of one or more solutions that enable us to track, measure and optimize learning.

Job Title: Executive Assistant to the VPs of Sales & Marketing

About the Role
  • This role, although Lagos-based, will serve the revenue department in the US, and thus you will operate as the Executive Assistant to the VPs of Sales and Marketing, who lead the Andela Revenue Department.
  • Your responsibilities will include schedule maintenance, correspondence, travel logistics, and stakeholder management. This role will require that you work cross-functionally across all levels of the organization and develop rapport with stakeholders in Andela offices across US, Nigeria, Kenya, and Uganda.
  • Your main objective is to expand the bandwidth of the VPs of Sales and Marketing. You will report into the Executive Coordinator of the Nigeria Country Director.

Key Responsibilities of the Role
The specific responsibilities of the Executive Assistant will include:
  • Owning and managing administrative tasks of the VPs of Sales and Marketing
  • Managing an extremely busy and active calendar or appointments.
  • Coordinating the flow of information to the Revenue Desk as required for policy and operational decisions.
  • Coordinating sensitive correspondence for the Revenue Desk
  • Screening calls (phone and video) and visitors on behalf of the VPs of Sales and Marketing
  • Arranging and managing travel itinerary, agenda and logistics.

Job Title: Engineering Manager
Location: Lagos
About the Role
  • Andela’s Technology department is charged with implementing products that will help Andela to scale with consistency and quality while providing excellent service internally and externally.  It is responsible for finding the best solution for Andela’s needs, not necessarily the best solution that Andela can build.
  • In this role, you will primarily work as a Engineering Manager within the Technology department as a people manager of up to 10 engineers in your location, providing mentoring and coaching to the engineers, and maintaining innovative processes that monitor the health of the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Be a combination of a highly-technical software engineer and an effective people manager
  • Recruit Technical Team Leads (TTLs) and Senior Engineers (SEs)
  • Identify potential candidates that best fit the role
  • Interview prospective TTLs and SEs to ensure fit
  • Facilitate onboarding of TTLs and SEs, in collaboration with Ops and P&C teams
