Job Title: Content Operations Specialist

Job Description

The Content Operations Specialist is expected to be a self-sufficient and self-driving individual contributor who can actively develop relationships and engage with both external partners/internet influencers and internal product/operation managers. He or she is also expected to support content production, News app maintenance and social media network management.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist product and operation managers with daily news censoring, news testing and product system management.
Work closely with China’s News Product Team to develop/discover popular news content; have an eye for viral content, news websites, news apps, etc.
Develop detailed marketing plan, campaign calendars and preform as for preview channel and drive the execution.
Securing data sources from demographically aligned partner databases, have some basic sense of data analysis.
Establish a local vision for future of Africa News development and ensures it is cascaded through performance management and development processes.

Job Specifications & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 year’s of experience in content creation or digital marketing, good knowledge of news products, informational websites, etc.
Excellent communications skills is a must.
Experienced content creation specialists are preferred.
Familiar with the social media landscape at large.
Experienced social media events planners are considered with priority.
Must have a good knowledge or familiar with the African social media influencer marketing.
Must have the ability to obtain certain influencer resources and maintain good relationships with them. Those with a good connection with influencers within Africa will be considered.
Must possess awareness of cultural sensitivity due to regional differences in the emerging African continent.
With remarkable news sense plus content sensitivity. Able to work under pressure and perform well under deadlines, able to work efficiently in a high volume environment.

Job Description
The sales Manager coordinates all the necessary resources to obtain objectives, where necessary by coordinating the activities of the sales force and marketing support, such as Channel and Field Marketing. Ability to manage multiple priorities and use strategic and critical thinking skills to get to the root of market opportunities, whist in a fast paced and changing environment.
