Job Title: Manager, Internal Control 
Ref: SSMMIC
Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Manager, Internal Control strategically reports directly to the Board Audit Committee and to the MD/CEO on a day to day basis.
  • He/She is the Inspection Officer of the Bank. He/She is responsi1le for leading and coordinating the Internal Audit/Systems & Control Unit.
  • This will involve reviewing and ensuring that all transactions processed within the organization are reliable and secure.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate for this role must have a first degree in related areas in addition to professional certifications.
  • He/She must possess a strong background in audit, accounting and financial management with demonstrable business acumen and technical capacity.
  • A minimum of 6 years cognate experience is required.



Job Title: Head Human Resources & Corporate Services
Ref: SSMHHCS
Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Head Human Resources & Corporate Services reports to the MD/CEO and sees to the strategic alignment of the corporate and human resources policies & procedures with the overall corporate goals.
  • He/She will also have an oversight of the corporate services function. 

Requirements

  • The right candidate for this role must possess a good first degree in the Behavioural Sciences or other allied areas. The possession of a Masters degree and relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
  • He/She must be conceptual and have a good track record of the application of Strategic Human Resources Management in a well established organization preferably in the Financial Services sector.
  • Minimum post- graduation cognate experience of 6 years is required.


Job Title: General Manager Credit

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The position reports directly to the MD/CEO and is in charge of one of the marketing and liability veneration groups in the Bank.
  • The incumbent is responsible for organizing the teams under the group to expand the Bank’s mortgage loans, increase the number of customers, generate significant volumes deposits at a cheap rate.
  • The successful candidate will ensure excellent customer service delivery, effective negotiation, closing of deals and building a strong pipeline of future customers and seeing to the development of effective products to satisfy the increasingly sophisticated market.

Requirements

  • This position requires a seasoned marketing professional with a demonstrable track record of selling to high net worth clientele. He/She must also be adept in credit analysis.
  • A minimum experience of 10 years post-graduation experience, 5 of which should be in a senior management position, is required.



Job Title: Chief Financial Officer 
Ref: SSMCFO
Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Chief Financial Officer reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for the planning and directing of the financial strategy of the Bank while seeking out the best mix of financing that will minimize the Bank’s financing cost and the optimization of the interest spread.
  • It also oversees the management and coordination of all the financial reporting activities.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate for this role must be a Chartered Accountant with a good first degree. The possession of a Masters degree is advantageous.
  • He/She must be ‘hands-on’ with a sound knowledge of global financial markets, accounting and information management.
