 Job Title: Assistant Fleet Supervisor
Location: Lagos and Sagamu – Ogun

Job Description/Requirements
  • Handle vehicles activities and tasking by ensuring all vehicles have a maintenance plan
  • Allocating trucks to drivers, dispatching trucks to pick up and deliver loads to customers or vendors.
  • Tracking and monitoring of trucks and sending of daily reports
  • Monitoring of journeys both within and outside the state.
  • Preparing of trips attendance sheet, supervising driver team and creating work planning
  • Scanning and sending of waybills and handling of trucks documents
  • On daily basis, assign jobs to drivers and update truck location and status on white marker board.
  • Keep records of all jobs and send the reports to head office daily
  • Preparing of drivers trips allowance for finance department to pay accordingly.
  • Liaising with maintenance team on day-to-day fleet operation activities
  • Handle training and HSE standards compliance
  • Competency with Tracking Software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Terminal operating systems experience preferred
  • Other duties as assigned.
Hours
  • Normal working hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m daily.
Job Title: Clearing Officer
Location:
 Lagos and Sagamu – Ogun

Job Description/Requirements
  • To handle clearing of all sea shipment
  • Process export clearance for all export shipment
  • Handle preparation of PAAR and Form ‘M’
  • Handle all sea shipment both import and export and ensure that there is no delay
  • Collection of customs duty assessment
  • To ensure that clearing of sea shipment is prompt and within acceptable days
  • Manage customs documentation for clearing and forwarding.
  • Must possess the ability to forward and clear their consignments.
  • To arrange cargo scanning within a day after terminal charges paid.
  • To clear consignment within a limited period of time.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Port Operations Staff

Job Description/Requirements
  • Monitoring vessels discharge
  • Tallying cargos
  • Arranging trucks loading
  • Issuance of waybill
  • Arranging trucks access in terminal
  • Experience in port operations
  • Worked with Chinese or European company in Nigeria (optional)
  • Willing to take responsibility and have good corporate loyalty
  • Conversant with terminal operation and procedures.
Job Title: Clearing Supervisor

Job Description/Requirements

  • To handle clearing of all sea shipment
  • Process export clearance for all export shipment
  • Handle preparation of PAAR and Form ‘M’
  • Handle all sea shipment both import and export and ensure that there is no delay
  • Collection of customs duty assessment
  • To ensure that clearing of sea shipment is prompt and within acceptable days
  • The candidate should be very conversant with customs tariff act, clearing and forwarding procedures and clearance of goods at Sea ports/Airports.
  • Manage customs documentation for clearing and forwarding.
  • Renewal of relevant licenses (should be conversant to the procedures)
  • Must be very conversant with custom laws, tariff schedules and classifications, Government rules, prohibited list of items for importation, import and export regulations and procedures, shipping procedures and documentations.
  • To get duty assessment in one day after Pre- Arrival Assessment Report (PAAR) and rotation number is allotted.
  • To arrange cargo scanning within a day after terminal charges paid.
  • To clear consignment within a limited period of time.
  • Must possess the ability to forward and clear their consignments.
  • To negotiate best freight rates with the shipping line to cover the interest of clients.
  • To apply and get refunds (shipping & container deposits etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.
