Job Title: Mobile Product Developer

Job Description

  • We currently require the services of an experienced and dynamic Mobile Product Manager
  • The ideal candidates must have a proven track record of achievement in similar roles. Experience in the telecommunications industry will be an added advantage.

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

  • Periodically engage in Market research and product research to identify the key requirements for a new product or a product upgrade.
  • Provide information for management by preparing periodic short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports, analysis, Develop, measure and track Return On Investments (ROI) of products.
  • Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, marketing, analyse and troubleshoot product issues in a timely fashion.
  • Sharp focus on revenue and margin opportunities that fit the company’s strategy and core competencies.
  • Regularly Communicate new product ideas and concepts to Manager, Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

Job Title: Key Account Manager

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities 
Drive and Develop Business Strategic Goals:

  • Through observation, survey, and analysis result in the local market; the individual is expected to provide viable business insight to the business development manager.
  • Maintain effective external interface with business and technology partners, government agencies and commercial professional bodies.
  • Work with the business development manager to close deals with Vendors / Operators and B2B, B2C clients to ensure product quality is in line with the demand.
  • Create new product strategies and go to market plan.
  • Achieve revenue target from BTL campaigns (SMS, USSD push, IVR, OBD etc.)

Project Management:

  • Define the scope of each project in cloud’s project pipeline in collaboration with senior management
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete each project in the pipeline
  • Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete each project
  • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
  • Review project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
  • Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion

Content development for new products and services:

  • Generate content as necessary and appropriate for new products and services until transferred to the account team.
  • Work with content management team and media partner’s on content quality and provisioning for new products and services
  • Monitor all content activities for new services and ensure content availability at all times.

Documentation:

  • Assist the business development manager in designing the road map and work flow process of each project where it relates to technical, business and legal matters.
  • Support the business development manager in the roll out of all projects including developing policies and procedures as they pertain to strategic partnerships.
  • Develop service agreements and terms of reference for clients and service providers: Oversee the preparation of commercial documents including business proposals, contracts and NDAs.

Client Account Management:

  • Management of revenue growth through campaigns and promotions.
  • Liaise with finance to ensure all pending invoices and requisitions are processed and payments received/made accordingly
  • Follow up on all pending payments with partners.
  • Prepares monthly revenue reports for partners, third party content providers and management board
  • Responsible for sending monthly payout reports to all partners
  • Work with content coordinators to ensure all needed reports are completed and submitted and contents uploaded on time
  • Other task as may be assigned by your supervisor

Requirements, Competencies and Capabilities 
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Project, Business and Account Management or equivalent degree/experience.
  • Understanding of operator infrastructure, capabilities and network protocols especially VAS, Operator billing, etc.
  • Excellent project management and business skills

Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years):

  • Experience working in the mobile industry, with demonstrated deep knowledge/hands-on experience in sales and marketing, operations or business development.

Job Title: IT VAS Executive

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Description

  • Planning:
  • Conceptualize, design and monitor procedures to manage all VAS & Digital platforms; preparation/ analysis of Logs (Short codes, SMS, Downloads, etc.)
  • Participate in a team-based, collaborative development process that starts with in-depth high-level design and ends with solution review.
  • Participate in review of Designing & Developing mobile and web applications
  • Develop documentation process and procedures for managing VAS network and provide the necessary information required for implementation
  • Planning/ implementation of systems and network checklists- perform engineering level network planning and design for all WANS and LANs installed
  • Develop a global security plan to ensure safety of data and access to the platform
  • Define and implement proof-of-concepts for proving new technologies and/or architecture patterns
  • Define comprehensive test strategy and plans aligned with scope, budget, and quality targets
  • Evaluate new tools, and unify approaches for deployment of services while considering alignment with industry standards and practices
  • Deploy new products and services.

Operations:

  • Manage all IS infrastructure and security as well as implementation of network upgrades
  • Ensure systems/ servers are always up, running and backed up
  • Liaise with technical partners on interface issues with the telecommunication networks
  • Liaise with 3rd party partners for service delivery/deployment and management
  • Participate in vendor selection process including: requirements gathering, RFQ issuance, vendor evaluation, procurement, etc.
  • Ensure 24/7 service availability of mobile media content and infrastructures
  • Ensure that all Service Level Agreements are in place and adhered to by technical services team of the business.
  • Instruct, assign and direct the activities of the business support and technical staff to ensure that the work performed meets the needs of the application users/vendors.
  • Interface with users to capture and analyze business requirements if required

Business Development:

  • Provide new services/solutions according to marketing requirements after inspection for availability with the current network structure and standards
  • Exploit new technologies and keep abreast of all new developments in the field of telecommunication and digital business.
  • Prepare weekly activity and progress reports to senior and executive management.

Educational Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Electronic Engineering/ Technology related field.
  • Very strong technical background with a flair for technology management; minimum of 3 years experience in VAS space.

Requirements:

  • Familiar with VAS equipment and platforms – exposure SMS, USSD, IVR and other VAS channels development and their workings
  • Familiar with telecommunication technology architecture & protocols – SMPP, CUAG, SS7
  • In-dept knowledge and understanding of both NCC VAS code of conduct and telcos rules of customer engagement in relation to VAS service deployment – DND, DNC, DOI etc.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft IIS and ASP.NET; Web/ Internet content filtering.

Competencies:

  • Domain name, service configuration and management; antivirus management and firewall configuration
