Job Title: Group Internal Auditor
Location: Nigeria
Requirements (Qualifications – Experience and Skills)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, Auditing,
- Knowledge of Legal and Financial Systems,
- Should be between 45 to 55 years
- Must be an experienced chartered Accountant
- Not less than 10 years’ experience as senior Auditor in a reputable manufacturing, service or investment organization.
Responsibilities
- Ensures a company or organization complies with internal regulations and established control protocol
- Reconciles documentation with actual inventory or assets to ascertain accuracy
- Participates in meetings with individuals and departments to update auditees on findings and the audit process
- Analyses audit results to determine methods for increasing profits and decreasing unnecessary costs
- Makes recommendations for the best ways for a company to avoid fraud and reduce waste
- Assesses best financial practices for an organization and makes relevant, informed suggestions
