Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying and winning new customers, as well as looking after existing customer accounts.
  • Developing a sales plan for the Sales Team
  • Set Sales Goals for the Team & analyze sales statistics to determine the sales potentials and inventory requirements of products and stores and to monitor consumers preferences
  • Design sales execution strategies and implement the strategies devised to increase the sales revenue
  • Constantly analyze the market; the consumption capacity of the consumers and project the expected return surveying the market in order to spy competition and to improve on the competitive strategy
  • Collaborate with the Marketing arm of the organization in order to look for innovative ways to influence consumers and improve sales
  • Notify distributors and consumers about any new product launch
  • Oversee the activities of the entire Sales Team
  • Develop a reward and motivation scheme to encourage high performance amongst the Sales Team
  • Design strategies for growing both the local market and the export market
  • Drive the recruitment and development of both new and existing Distributors to serve as business partners at their various markets
  • Carry out the performance assessment of the Sales Team from time to time
  • Design sales policies; processes and procedures for the organization
  • Provide timely programmes that will aid the company’s ability to retain the loyalty of the Distributors to the brand
  • Monitor and track the performance of the Sales Team
  • Effective participation at workshops; trade shows and seminars to be abreast of changes in the industry
  • Responsible for the preparation of the Department’s yearly budget and the implementation of activities required to achieve the budget
  • Drive effective deployment of resources thereby reducing and elimination wastages
  • Ensure that the Sales Team receive necessary product training before new products are launched
  • Ensure prompt investigation into customer complaints and resolution by maintaining a register of incidents with all detail
  • Train, Coach, Mentor & Develop team members to the next level of competency.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any other Social Science Courses.
  • Masters in Business Administration or Marketing will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of progressively more responsible positions in Accounts & Finance, preferably in an FMCG Firm.

Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Lagos


Job Description

  • We seek qualified candidates to undertake all aspects of corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget; forecasts preparation; financial risk management amongst others.

Experience/Educational Qualification

  • The prospective candidate should possess a minimum educational qualification of a first Degree or its equivalent in any course and a professional qualification in Accounting.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Accounting software (Sage Pastel, Quickbooks etc.) will be an added advantage.
  • At least 10 years of progressively more responsible position in a similar role preferably in an FMCG firm.

  • Age: Between 35years-50years.
Key Responsibilities

  • Budget preparation, making reasonable financial projections where necessary;
  • Keeping accurate records of financial transactions and preparing financial statements.
  • Developing and implementing the business, internal control, finance and accounting policies and procedures;
  • Handling all strategic financial planning (e.g. taxation, financing) and internal control matters;
  • Provide diligent standard, labour and product costing analysis and identify cost savings for the Company
  • Review and recommend opportunities to make production improvements through capital investments
  • Work with the wider business to cost up new and existing products, providing production costs for those products
  • Identifying accounting issues and offering workable and practical solutions;
  • Managing the accounting/finance of the Company including treasury functions’ assessment of operating performance etc.
  • General supervision and training of subordinates.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Provide and interpret the financial information that the company’s output is yielding and to make decisions on expenses and sales
  • Supervision of controls for accounting procedures and systems;
  • Managing tax returns, financial statements and year/period closings;
  • Providing a reliable second line contact I follow up and excellent service delivery to clients, related companies and external parties including government agencies, tax authorities, external auditors etc.
  • Preparation of periodic Management Accounts and presentation of same to the Executive Management
  • Ensure proper and accurate recording of all stock transactions and liaising with all parties involved in stock management.
