Role Summary
  • The Tender Engineering Manager (TEM) will lead a cross-functional team including the entire proposal team from the time of approval to prepare a bid up to the turnover to OTR
  • This role reflects the current GPS execution structure and the current division of responsibility between CAE and the Sales organization
  • The TEM is responsible for technical definition including project execution, sales and all commercial items.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other Technical discipline from an accredited university or college /or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Minimum of 12 years in Power Plant Design or engineering related role
  • Minimum of 3 years in Proposal Development working with multi-discipline Engineering Teams
  • A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
  • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Ability and willingness to travel globally 25% of the time

Essential Responsibilities
As the Fast Power Tender Engineering Manager, you will:
  • Technical risk management
  • Lead performance, emissions, and operational guarantees development
  • Lead technical negotiations and contract definition for CA
  • Engage with OTR and turnover of projects to execution teams
  • Support the Sales team to define the proposal strategy including partner consortium agreement
  • Execution of the technical components of the TM2500, HES, LM2500Xpress proposal strategy
  • Establish the project scope definition and proposal technical content
  • Establish the project schedule
  • Develop the plant/equipment cost estimates
  • Manage the partner relationship regarding technical aspects
