Latest Vacancy at Ogun State College of Health Technology

The Ogun State School of Health Technology, llese-Ijebu now Ogun State College of Health Technology was established on the 28th of September, 1976 during the Military Administration of Colonel Seidu Ayodele Balogun, to train middle level manpower for the delivery of primary health care services. 

In line with relevant provisions of the law establishing Ogun State College of Health Technology, Ilese-Ijebu. The State Government through the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, has approved the commencement of the process for the appointment of a Substantive Registrar for the College. To this end, Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified and interested candidates for the post below:

Location: Ogun

Details

  • The Registrar is a Principal Officer responsible to the Provost for the day-to-day administration of the College.
  • The Registrar of the College shall by virtue of the office be Secretary of the Council and Academic Board.

The Candidate

  • The candidate for the position of Registrar shall be a person of proven Integrity and be ready to provide leadership as a Team player towards the achievement of the overall goal of the College.

He/she shall be expected to be:

  • Of strong moral character and a goal-getter, who possesses cognate experience in the administration of human and material resources to provide a world class administrative support
  • IT compliance (Computer Literate)
  • Non-ethic, political, religious and sectional bias
  • A team player with ability to delegate responsibilities, instill confidence and command loyalty of others
  • Not more than fifty(50) years of age as at the date of possible assumption of office.
  • Mentally and physically fit

Qualification and Experience

  • A good honours degree (not below Second Class Honours) and a Master Degree in Public Administration from a recognized University. Membership of a recognized relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
  • The candidate must be a Deputy Registrar in a Polytechnic and must have at least Ten (10) years post qualification cognate experience and must have served In the Registry of a Polytechnic for at least fifteen (15) years.

Note

  • Each Application should include the names and addresses of three referees who should be ready to provide a confidential report on the candidate’s character, academic and managerial abilities for the post applied for.
