Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Descriptions

  • To provide electrical engineering input to other disciplines to assure that design outputs are consistent.
  • Review Design Bases, design drawings, specifications, etc.
  • To act as required as the Alliance representative (electrical) to ensure that design work by contractors meets Company standards and relevant industry codes.
  • To monitor the performance of design contractors and suggest remedial actions related to electrical design.
  • To assist Alliance resident and/or project engineers with the electrical engineering aspects of Facilities design.
  • To participate in HAZOP’s and other key design reviews.
  • To provide input to Front End/Conceptual Engineering studies with respect to electrical design aspects
  • To establish and maintain a facilities electrical installations database Provide input to Integrity Management and Planned Maintenance planning

Requirements

  • University Engineering Degree (Electrical) Minimum fifteen years relevant experience with an oil industry
  • Must be present in Nigeria at all times for the duration of the project duration, unless Otherwise explicitly agreed.
  • Well vested in management and supervision of Rehabilitation & Reinforcement of 330/132 kV and 132/33kV Transmission Substations.
  • Skills and ability to verify if electrical calculations and hypotheses used, construction drawings, diagrams and documents submitted for approval are worked out in accordance with contractual and engineering specifications.
  • Familiarity with Pre-Commissioning Tests and Commissioning Upon Works Completion.
  • Performs general project management, design review, plan and supervise all Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and all tests carried out by the contractors at site and sign such test reports.

Job Title: Site Civil Engineer

Type of Employment: Permanent

Responsibilities

  • To plan, design, build, construct, commission and maintain approved oil and Gas and Non-oil and gas infrastructural facilities in support of the company`s business.
  • Ensure Delivery of Civil/Structural engineering works on time and within budget
  • Ensure meeting the yearly objectives set by the statement of requirements
  • Ensure maintaining a good interface with other departments e.g JV,C and Facilities,HSE and Security Department

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (B.Sc or B.Eng in Civil Engineering, candidates must be COREN registered with 5 years` experience in the oil and Gas industry.
  • Must be present in Nigeria at all times for the duration of the project duration, unless Otherwise explicitly agreed.
  • Well vested in management and supervision of Rehabilitation & Reinforcement of 330/132 kV and 132/33kV Transmission Substations.
