Job Title: System/Network Engineer
Location:
 Victoria Island, Lagos

Short Summary of the Job

  • To support and maintain all IT architecture both internal and in client’s location.  This position is also responsible for administering up to 100 desktops as well as all company servers, printers, phones, and other peripherals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipments and related services
  • Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
  • Provide network–related user issues as escalated
  • Assist in network project design and implementations
  • Maintain and support company’s LAN/WAN environment
  • Daily maintenance and problem resolution
  • Maintain necessary documentation on both network issues and projects assigned
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Apple servers (Open Directory) for a middle-sized environment (less than 200 computers)
  • Set-up of computers for staffs
  • Troubleshoot application and hardware issues on both user and server levels
  • Aid in maintaining that all servers/computers/peripherals are in good working condition
  • Perform servers and other computer asset maintenance (regular and ad-hocs)
  • Maintain hardware and software updated inventory
  • Resolve all application (emails, applications, etc) related issues
  • Participate in designing and implementation of various systems/application projects as requested by the client

Essential Skills/Knowledge

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IP network maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Advance knowledge in routing (EIGRP/OSPF) and switching (VLAN’s, STP, etc)
  • Advanced knowledge in SNMP and other network management protocols/systems
  • Advanced knowledge in QoS principles and use of different QoS appliances
  • Able to identify network issues, propose and implement actions to resolve the problem
  • Experienced and knowledgeable on different wireless technologies (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) design, implementation, optimization and troubleshooting
  • Must be highly resourceful
  • Able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Must be a team-player
  • Certifications (CCNP/CCDA/CCIP) is a plus
  • Understanding of wires and wireless basic networking
  • Ability to use an Apple Macintosh system
  • Ability to manage and support 1st and 2nd level issues on an Apple Macintosh system
  • Ability to manage and support 1st and 2nd level issues on a Microsoft Windows System
  • Basic understanding of Directory Services on both Windows (Active Directory) and Macintosh (Open Directory)
  • Understanding of hardware configuration of both Apple and Windows devices is highly desirable
  • Intermediate understanding of DNS, DHCP, Filesharing (with or without SAMBA)
  • Ability to work under pressure

Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Descriptions

  • Business Analyst will under general direction, conduct business and systems analysis, manage feature scope, lead software and process design changes, and generate application documentation.
  • Business Analyst will work directly with clients to gather requirements, and be the technical liaison between the software development team and the business customers.
  • The business Analyst will work closely with our Software Development and Project Manager in assisting in project direction and requirements gathering.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead business and technical analysis sessions to support new development efforts to meet current and projected business needs of Netcom clients.
  • Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of functions within Netcom client’s environment.
  • Provide expertise on the systems capabilities / limitations as it relates to business goals.
  • Prepare impact and opportunity assessments regarding the cost / benefits of proposed projects.
  • Align stakeholders on business requirements, system requirements, program functions and strategy.
  • Prepare use cases and formal requirements documentation and user guides
  • Drive the implementation of technology and process solutions from concept to completion.
  • Provide analysis and support for the project management, application development, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Assist / Author in the development of test plans.
  • Assist / Author in the development of training and/or technical documentation.
  • Act as liaison between the Technology department and other business units.
  • Communicates needed changes to development and business units.
  • Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.

Essential Skills/Knowledge

  • Candidate must be a team player with excellent communication skills and have the ability to manage assignments independently. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing personality and the desire to help in the development and mentoring of his team mates.
  • Substantial business analysis experience and ability to demonstrate attention to detail.

  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycles, user interface / interaction design in as applicable to enterprise software and web-based applications
  • Experience in documenting business requirements, use cases, activity diagrams, UML& Structured Analysis
  • Experience in developing training materials and in training end users.
  • Experience in collaborating with remote / satellite teams will be advantageous.

  • Good written and verbal Communication skills to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical personnel.

Job Title: Treasury Officer
Location
: Victoria Island, Lagos

Purpose

  • Monitor cash flow of a company on a daily basis, making periodic analysis; identify funding needs by the use of banking skill, investment skill and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review the company financial position on a daily basis. Compile and review daily cash status report. Provide relevant periodic management reports and as requested by finance controller/manager.
  • Control banking and operation systems and manage money transmission systems.&
  • Manage the company’s bank account efficiently.
  • Ensure all funds are appropriately banked and coordinate with collection team on bounced cheque.
  • Ensure all invoices and claims are posted and properly coded in the ERP system.
  • Process disbursement as requested.
  • Coordinate and manage requestor expectation if funds are not available.
  • Check and verify cash transactions; investigate and propose possible resolution for any discrepancy.
  • Undertake all treasury operations and responsibilities under the supervision of the financial controller.
  • Review bills on a constant basis.
  • Day to day control over treasury transactions and authorize bank payments.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all payment vouchers and accounts payable documents to ensure completeness and security.
  • Responsible for interest and debt analysis.
  • Assess various payment activities and methods.
  • Minimize bank transactions fee.
  • Partner with the assistant controller and taxation team lead in ensuring that all transactions having to do with treasury is recorded correctly and in compliance with the standard.
  • Coordinate with statutory annual audit, resolve all possible enquiries.
  • Ensure robust and efficient tax payment planning and filing with relevant bodies.
  • Provide inputs to the company that will maximize revenue and profit.

Education/Professional Qualifications

  • University graduate in Accounting
  • ICAN certification or in progress
  • Relevant treasury management training

Essential Skills/Knowledge:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Self-motivated individual with effective organization skill.
  • Must be proactive, with the ability to meet and surpass project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with management, staff and external parties.

  • MS Office skills to intermediate or advanced level.
  • 5 years’ experience working in treasury role in large/diverse international organization.
