Datforte International Schools is a mixed school of both male and female stars and ambassadors. It was established in September 1999 with commencement of full academic activities, with the objective of building on the solid foundation given to our stars at the primary level and impacting on every student so as to influence their generation positively.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Subject Teacher (Physics, Mathematics, Technical Drawing)

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Teaching all areas of the curriculum
  • Clear understanding of the subject taught
  • Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
  • Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
  • Providing a weekly report on activities that took place during the week
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives
  • Assess and record progress and prepare pupils for national and international tests
  • Preparing and marking work to facilitate positive pupil development
  • Coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
  • Organising and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening (end of the year party, graduation…)
  • Keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum

Job Title: Class Teacher

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils
  • Teaching all areas of the primary curriculum
  • Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
  • Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
  • Providing a weekly report on activities that took place during the week
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Teaching and Instruction: Develop lesson plans that teach students the subject in question. Lesson plans include classroom work, such as class instruction, innovative teaching techniques, tests and quizzes. In addition, teachers assign homework to students to reinforce the lessons learned in the classroom. Elementary school teachers schedule field trips for students during the year to provide learning experiences outside of the classroom.
  • Planning, developing and organizing instruction are major parts of your job.

Job Description

  • Writing and receiving letters on behalf of the School
  • Managing office supplies stock and placing orders
  • Keeping parents informed of what correspondence has been sent out and received.

  • Management of daily activities in the administrative office

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Managing the financial bookkeeping of the school
  • Processing invoices, recording payments, and tracking expenses of the organization
  • Each expense must be cross-checked with the corresponding invoice, to ensure that the billing is accurate.
  • Communicating with customers is a regular duty of this job.
  • An accounts officer sends bills to customers; processes refunds; interacts with collection agencies on past-due accounts; and, works to resolve billing disputes.
  • Monitoring internal auditing procedures and to solve the problem when accounting numbers are not in sync

Job Title: Home Economics or Food Nutritionist

Location: Lagos
