Job Title: Health and Safety/Environmental Specialist

Job Description

  • Design, review and amendment of the HSE policies and the safety management system.
  • Implement the policies and procedures into the various departments; Marine Department, FOTT, Operations, Engineering, Projects and general departments.
  • Develop and implement contractor management for 3rd party contractors
  • Develop and review the departments emergency response plan(s)
  • Advise the HSE Manager on strategic issues in relation to HSE developments
  • Prepare reports on spot checks results and keep adequate register of unconformities with legal requirements and HSE policies.
  • Discuss results of monitoring and enforcement with operational department management
  • Takes proportionate corrective measures if necessary
  • Prepare monthly and annual reports on HSE performance to senior management
  • Investigate incidents and accidents and report.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the construction and/ or supervision of turnkey substation Project of similar nature
  • Minimum academic qualification BSc/BA Degree in applicable field
  • Must be present in Nigeria at all times for the duration of the project duration, unless Otherwise explicitly agreed
  • Well vested in management and supervision of Rehabilitation & Reinforcement of 330/132 kV and 132/33kV Transmission Substations
  • Skills and ability to verify if electrical calculations and hypotheses used, construction drawings, diagrams and documents submitted for approval are worked out in accordance with contractual and engineering specifications
  • Familiarity with Pre-Commissioning Tests and Commissioning Upon Works Completion.

Job Title: Planning/Contract Site Manager

Job Description

  • Plan, manage and provide services to the company’s projects through the provision of specialized Planning and  Contract knowledge, processes, tools and personnel to achieve project excellence in line with systems such as development of the Overall Contracting Strategy, Tender Plan and Invitation to bid documentation and execution of contract administration.
  • Plan, propose and manage the enforcement of Technical Governance through intervention as subject matter expert in Project Contract in key project stage gates such as Project Risk Assessment (PRA), Project Independent Review (PIR), Front End Loading (FEL) Analysis and Contractor Risk Assessment (CORA) to increase the like hood of project success.
  • Plan, review and manage the development and continuous improvement of the Project Contract knowledge and practices through collaborative effort with project practitioners within the company and the industry contributing to the knowledge banks and to achieve project excellence according to the 3R (Reliable, Repeatable, Replicable) principal in line with the company’s Asset Development initiatives towards long-term sustainability.
  • Plan, review and manage the project contract & contractor performance through effective utilization of best practices into projects and to ensure that contract & contractor performance data is collected and consolidated comprehensively and accurately for future selection of contractors.
  • Lead and manage the engagement of third party service provider such as manpower services, consultancy and benchmarking services from pre-award phase such as preparation of tender plan and tender evaluation until post-award phase such as contract administration and contract close-out.

Job Title: Confidential Secretary/Personal Assistant to the Deputy Managing Director

  • Manage the DMD’s Calendar, emails and internal and external contacts
  • Respond to emails and re-routed phone calls linked to the DMD’s Office

  • Manages all Visitors including VIP’s that visits the DMD’s Office.

  • Ensures DMD’s office equipment are in good working condition and arrange routine maintenance /replacement as necessary.

  • Any other assigned duties related to the Office of the DMD

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

  • To provide electrical engineering input to other disciplines to assure that design outputs are consistent.
