Job Title: Compex Engineer

Location: Nigeria
Job Type:Contract

Responsibilities

  • Repairs electrical equipment such as panel lighting, circuit breakers, junction boxes, voltage regulators and reverse current relays.
  • Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions.
  • Gland or re-gland and dress up or re-dress the electric cable.
  • Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and/or installations.
  • Inspects joints, valves, pumps, boilers, heaters, sinks, commodes, tanks, valves, and other plumbing system components to locate malfunctions, and repairs or replaces when necessary.
  • Installing, calibrating and maintaining detection equipment.
  • Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
  • Use and handle the electrical testing and repair equipment appropriately.
  • Maintain the records of all electrical inventories. Place orders for new spare parts and equipment if needed.
  • Works with high voltage transformer. Repairs and maintains high voltage systems.

Requirements

  • Valid BOSIET certificate and offshore medical fitness certificate.
  • Rope Access Level III mandatory
  • CompEX certificate-4 mandatory

Educational Qualifications

  • A University Degree in Electrical Engineering or related work experience

Experience Required:

  • 5-10years

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people is essential.
  • Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of operational problems.

Job Title: Mechanical Integrity Manager (PAUT)

Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Contract

Summary of Functions

  • Review project books at the completion of new installation and provide recommendation on new inspection process. Include equipment on appropriate inspection process, schedule and include into CMMS and RBMI programs.
  • Develop inspection schedule of each piece and type of equipment in the facility and correspond each piece of equipment to an approved inspection procedure and method.
  • Oversee mechanical integrity program with respect to internal and external tank inspections, pipe inspections, pressure vessels, rotating equipment, and pressure and vacuum relief devices.
  • Develop, maintain and oversee coating program for mechanical equipment including tanks, pumps, pipes, exchanger, structures, labeling, etc.
  • Oversee and direct the insulation repairs to tanks, pipes and equipment to maintain integrity of system and equipment
  • Actively serve on quality committees, task force and Haz-op studies, Management of Change (MOC), Safe Work Plan (SWP), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) when requested by Maintenance Manager.
  • Follow up corrective actions and implement countermeasures to minimize reoccurrence of equipment breakdowns and malfunctions
  • Managing on site the facilities team and third party sub-contractors ensuring they complete tasks on time and safely to required standards.

Requirements

  • API 653, 510 or 570 certifications mandatory
  • PCN Level III in PAUT/TOFD mandatory
  • Project Management experience
  • Process Safety Management experience
  • Experience with reliability practices, mechanical integrity and predictive/ preventative maintenance in a chemical terminal, chemical plant or refinery

Educational Qualifications:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience Required:

  • 2-5years

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, drawings and charts.

Job Title: NDT Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge and experience in all QC related activities in Piping, welding, related Piping fabrication, Equipment, Tanks, Painting, Fireproofing & Insulation, Verification of Piping and Test packages.
  • Read and interpret the various drawings used in the projects for executing the work.
  • Responsible for inspecting duties, organizes and generates reports pertaining to inspection and evaluation.
  • To perform periodic verification of the calibration as per Code requirements.
  • To evaluate and interpret the NDT results with respect to applicable Codes, standards, specifications and approved company procedures.
  • To prepare NDT reports and certify the results.
  • Performs Nondestructive testing techniques and methods in accordance with the clients’ needs depending on the type of inspection required.
  • Responsible for executing the tests using the procedures and methods to determine maximum quality of the product.
  • Responsible for inspecting duties, organizes and generates reports pertaining to inspection and evaluation.
  • Expected to prepare reports on all testing and evaluations done.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the equipment used for testing are all functioning to its maximum and according to safety regulations.
  • Responsible for endorsing the equipment to repair.

Requirements

  • Wide knowledge and vast experience in certain fields of NDT e.g. UT, ECI, PCN, MPI, RT, DPI etc.
  • Must have several certifications that will ascertain his technical and applicable knowledge in NDT (i.e. UT, ECI, PCN, MPI, RT, DPI etc).
  • Valid BOSIET or HUET Offshore Certification
  • Full UKOOA Medical
  • Knowledge and Adherence to safety rules and regulations

Job Title: Senior Offshore Constructor
Location:

Summary of Functions

  • Determine the appropriate processes and procedures are developed, utilized, implemented and ensure they meet both internal and external quality requirements.
  • Interpret and analyzing request for quotations.
  • Develop detailed written weld procedures, instructions, and lab testing requirements which meet code customer requirements.
  • Review and interpret lab testing results and reports.
  • Determines required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
  • Responsible for ensuring that industry standards (ASME, AWS, API, etc.) and customer requirements are properly set and completed throughout the manufacturing and fabrication processes.
  • Attend pre-fabrication meetings with customers as required
  • Analyze and ensure the appropriate welding materials (alloys, etc.) are included in the entire processing of the job order.

Requirements

  • Certified in at least 3 of these processes: SMAW, SAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW
  • Rope Access IRATA Level 3
  • OGUK Medical and MIST
  • Coded Welder Completion of Apprenticeship Certificate which MUST be in date

Educational Qualifications:

  • Valid A.W.S D1.1 Certification
  • Valid BOSIET Offshore Survival Certification
  • Certification with CSWIP 3.2 mandatory

Experience Required:

  • 10-15years

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • Extensive experience in welding and fabrication mainly in the piping and Vessels
  • Knowledge and experience in all QC related activities in Piping, welding, related Piping
  • Technical background in advanced welding methods and procedures
  • Must have experience welding multiple types of pipe including, but not limited to: carbon steel, stainless steel, and chrome.
  • Knowledge and experience in 6G Pipe Testing

Job Title: ROV PILOT
Location:

Responsibilities

  • Develop project schedules in conjunction with the Projects Manager & Unit Manager; plan, direct and assign duties for ROV project personnel; schedule and authorize overtime as necessary to meet project schedules.
  • Trains ROV engineers on operational functions; conduct safety orientations and meetings; assures that established policies and procedures are followed.
  • Oversee and supervise all functions including receiving of components, ROV equipment inventory control and interim quality checks and shipping; assures compliance with all regulations and good code of practice.
  • Conversant with relevant ROV work techniques and legislation; Report any nonconforming work. Prepare project reports. Assist in necessary project documentation.
  • Data analysis. Reading and interpreting drawings and procedures as maybe required.
  • Demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of ROV; have knowledge of the ROV services certification scheme.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced ROV rescue techniques.
  • Perform tests, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the equipment as necessary.
  • Verify that the integrity of the structure has been restored for the purpose it was designed.
  • Take pictures and/or video of completed work for presentation to the client.
  • Troubleshoots all ROV project problems; assures that equipment and materials are properly maintained for efficient operations; reports any process or equipment problems to the Unit Manager and or Projects Manager.

Requirements

  • Possess current certificates for all operation areas as per OGUK and other relevant guidelines
  • Valid OPITO BOSIET/HUET Certification
  • Knowledge and Adherence to safety rules and regulations
  • ASNT Level III in UT, MT, PT, RT & ET (Mandatory)
  • PEC Qualifications mandatory

Educational Qualifications

  • A good university first degree in Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Advanced Subsea Engineering Certificate

Experience Required:

  • 10-15years

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • Expertise in video ray Pro 4, VideoRay MSS (Mandatory)
  • Must be fully competent, conversant and have a strong working knowledge of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs)
  • Experience in risk assessments, HSE Audits/Meetings/Inspections, HSE Training, HSE Performance Reporting, First-Aid, and Accident Investigation.
