Job Title: Finance Intern

Job Description

  • Our client, a big player in the FMCG Industry, is looking to recruit an Finance Intern
  • This role is responsible for the delivery of the financial and business processes and systems in line with corporate standards; the post holder will undertake specific work within Finance and contribute to improving functional efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation and managing of budget and forecasts for business units
  • Update detailed operating and projections/financial models, working closely with multiple departments
  • Assist in analyzing and monitoring financial and operational performance.
  • Assist with monthly closes and coordinate with Accounting to ensure accurate financial results and reporting
  • Identify trends and issues and address problems to ensure quality financial results
  • Assist in corporate finance and business development work. Perform quantitative analyses to help evaluate and implement strategic options.
  • Assist in developing KPIs and new measurements and metrics to assess business performance.
  • Assist in driving financial considerations in decision-making framework to improve business profitability and capital efficiency
  • Prepare presentations for management and participate in ad hoc projects as needed

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
  • Advance proficiency in Microsoft Word processing and spreadsheet applications; ability to utilize database application
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups, and nestedifs formulas)
  • Ability to interpret Financial Data from various systems and in various formats.

Job Title: Account Associate
Detailed Description

  • This role is responsible for the delivery of the financial and business processes and systems in line with corporate standards; the post holder will undertake specific work within Finance and contribute to improving functional efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Audit account payable checks, verifying accuracy of vendor names, amounts, addresses, authorizations, and other key payment information.
  • Review bi-weekly check proposals to identify inappropriate transactions in conjunction with the disbursement audit process, primarily by verifying appropriate authorization of new vendors.
  • Reconcile all vendor additions, deletions, and changes in Accounts Payable against the monthly vendor change report.
  • Review bi-weekly duplicate A/P payment reports; investigate and resolve potential duplicate payments prior to release of payment.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of store bank accounts.
  • Post payroll journal entries and prepare account reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly consolidated financials and variance reports by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing information and trends.
  • Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data
  • Prepares special reports that will be requested by management from time to time.

Detailed Description

  • We are looking to recruit a Content & Social Media Intern to join our marketing team.
  • The intern will work with the social media team, content team, and marketing staff to schedule content for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest, and Youtube.
  • The intern will also help monitor performance across platforms, and help with competitive and benchmark analyses.
  • No coffee runs for this intern: this internship will require real marketing work: building out lists, digging into data, writing posts, and working on other high impact marketing projects within a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
A typical day as a Content & Social Media Intern might include:

  • Content publishing across global social media channels
  • Research and analysis, using public tools such as Google Trends,
  • Social Media Campaign Management
  • Play a key role in launching social marketing campaigns, while learning how to build and protect our company’s brand.

  • We are looking for a Data Insight Intern. As a data analyst you will be responsible for complex data management within the production team, data sourcing and data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Data and big data cross-analysis in order to identify cause/effect correlations and drive business decisions
  • Maintenance and improvement of KPIs Dashboards to support performances
  • Market research and related results analysis
  • Preparation of reports and presentations
  • Explore first-party and third-party data to generate insights for product and business leaders.
  • Present and interpret analytics findings and participate actively in discussions of results.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics) or significant relevant coursework
