Job Description
- Looking for a Scrum Master with strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of the agile development process.
- We are building best in class Digital applications and API’s. As a Scrum Master you are expected to be a team facilitator and be responsible for bringing the team together to deliver.
- You should have an understanding or experience in React, Node.JS and other Javascript frameworks. You have a passion for creating the best user experience possible.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated and extensive experience delivering technology solutions
- Excellent understanding of development concepts
- Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Understanding of object orientation and software design patterns
- Experience testing at the unit, integration and system levels
- Knowledge of at least one web application server such as Tomcat, .NET or similar
- Experienced leading teams of software engineers
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a practicing Scrum Master
- Experience with other Agile/Lean practices such as XP or Kanban
- Participation in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development, Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery
Responsibilities
- Drive the Technical team and the Product Owners in an Agile development process
- Enact Scrum values and practices
- Run interferences both within as well as across functional teams
- Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions
- Apply a strong understanding of the overall software delivery lifecycle and activities
- Promote and participate in the continuous improvement of structure, processes, and tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value
- Organize and facilitate standups, release and sprint planning, reviews, demos and retrospectives
- Support efforts to code, design, and test in a heterogeneous technology environment e.g. JavaScript MVC, HTML, CSS, Java/ J2EE
- Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation
- Engineer a world-class platform with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem solving
- Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit, integration, and regression capabilities
- Adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security policies
- Contribute and collaborate in creation and consumption of open, standards-based solutions, while working with existing JPMorgan technologies and infrastructure
