Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Description
- Transient, Stability and Steady state motor starting studies, simulation and calculation.
- Short circuit current calculation, simulation studies and calculation.
- Electrical design philosophy and criteria.
- Cable sizing criteria and calculation.
- Plant sizing design and calculation.
- Onshore field construction.
- Expertise in all aspects of process plant, instrument, control and ESD systems and software.
- Knowledge of installation and commissioning.
- Ability to specify key technical studies.
- Control and management of design change.
Job Requirements
- Engineering Degree ( Electrical/Electronic Engineering):
- Shall be a Corporate Member of NSE/COREN
- Shall be a Corporate Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)
- Participate in the Professional Career Development of IEEE
- Fluent knowledge of English
- At least 7 years relevant and related experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.

- Simulating Multiphase Flow for Dynamic Modes
- Parameters for evaluating and Selection of Design Concepts
Skills:
- Shall have Skills of:
- Simulating Multiphase/Hydraulic Flow for Steady State Modes.
- Simulating Transient Processes.
- Developing Conceptual and Detailed Design,
- Developing Process & Utility Engineering Flow schemes,
- Selecting and Specifying Process Equipment.
- Defining Process System Operating Envelope.
- Specifying Process Control and Measurement Philosophies and requirements
- Specifying Process Safeguarding Philosophies and requirements.
- Provision of Process Eng Support for Plant Start-up and Testing.
- Provision of Process, Plant and Pipeline system Performance Evaluation & Monitoring,
- Optimising Process, Plant and Pipeline system Performance & De-bottlenecking.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Engineering degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
Professional Qualifications:
- Should complete NSE/COREN registration
- Starts International Professional Registration IChemE.
Required Experience:
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry in both onshore and/or offshore facilities
- At least 3 years of experience and proven track record in hydrocarbons processing studies, process simulation and project development.
- At least 2 years relevant and related experience in design and operation of high H2S or CO2 content facilities with stringent HSE requirements.
