Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking for an experienced Java Developer to work with one or more of our engineering teams
  • This is an opportunity to become a part of a highly motivated and skilled team, which works on the cutting edge of technology and invents the future of payment solutions.
  • As a Java Developer you will work in a flexible team where you will be involved in Development and all aspects of configuration and to some aspect deployment of the Product that we delivers, the Product evolves quickly therefore you should be capable to process and sync with the changes quickly.

Experience/Skills
Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Java/J2EE in LINUX/ MAC OS Environments.
  • Good knowledge of SQL queries optimization and indexes.
  • Experience in some administrative/scripting languages (Perl, bash shell) will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of J Unit.

Must have:

  • Experience in web technologies preferably Ajax.
  • Java Certification.
  • Agile development experience preferably Scrum.
  • Experience of leading teams is a plus.
  • Experience in SOAP/XML.
  • Experience in working with distributed teams.
  • Experience with Maven, Bamboo, Stash (GIT).

Personal Attributes:

  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Self-driven and ability to make progress with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to deal with the problem single handedly.
