Brains and Ideas Consulting Limited – Our client is a Nigerian owned Engineering Service and Contracting company with over 20 years’ experience servicing a wide range of clientele in the Mechanical, Electrical and plumbing engineering space.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Service Executive, Engineering

Location: Lagos
Industry: Engineering
Functions: Sales and Marketing

Responsibilities

  • Searching for new clients who could benefit from your products
  • Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms and calculating quotations
  • Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
  • Offering after-sales support services
  • Analyzing costs and sales
  • Preparing reports for management decision
  • Meeting regular sales targets
  • Co-coordinating sales projects
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs

Expectations

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any course with an experiential technical background such as a Mechanical/Electrical engineer, Quantity surveyor or any other technical background.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ post NYSC experience in sales and marketing  of any products
  • Experience in facility management would be an added advantage
  • Entrepreneurial minded with some level of project management
  • Resilience and tenacity.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to build relationships with clients quickly.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft word and excel is a pre-requisite and PARTICULARLY, an ability to write excellent letters, proposals unsupervised and make oral presentations flawlessly.
  • Candidate must be between 25 and 30years old as at December, 2018Self-starter and Self-motivated.

 

Job Title: Operations Manager, Retail

Location: Lagos
Industry: Food Processing
Functions: Operations, Finance, Sales &Marketing and People Management

Responsibilities

  • Organize stock and equipment, order supplies and oversee building maintenance, cleanliness and security
  • Plan and work to budgets, maximize profits and achieve sales targets set by head office
  • Control takings in the outlet and administer payrolls
  • Recruit new staff, and train and develop existing staff
  • Coordinate staff scheduling, motivate and encourage staff to achieve targets
  • Ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained
  • Implement and instill in your team company policies, procedures and ethics
  • Handle customer complaints and queries
  • Implement branded promotional campaigns from head office, including the handling of point-of-sale promotional materials, or devise your own promotional campaigns
  • Prepare reports and other performance analysis documentation
  • Report to, and attend regular meetings of your operations
  • Establish relationships with the local community and undertake activities that comply with the company’s corporate social responsibility programs.

Working hours:

  • Hours of work are generally long should be willing to work evenings, weekends and on public holidays.

What to expect:

  • The environment is fast paced, with an emphasis on delivering good customer service in a limited time frame. You may spend a lot of time ‘walking the floor’, moving around on foot or standing. The work can therefore be both physically and mentally demanding.
  • You will wear a company uniform and dress in accordance with appropriate health and safety requirements associated with food preparation.

Job Title: Retail Sales & Marketing Officer (Offline & Online)

Location: Lagos

Functions: Sales & Marketing, Advertisement,

Responsibilities

  • Sales activities; take and process all orders (from walk in, phone and online Customers)
  • Manage and coordinate all orders till dispatch and delivery to customer
  • Advertising and marketing of all products both offline and online
  • Will be required to generate detailed reports based on stock and sales
  • Plan and oversee brand advertising and promotions utilizing online, print, and direct mail communications
  • Work with management to accomplish complete company marketing plan to establish strong market presence and expand the market for products in retail.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing to ensure sales volume is in line with projected company growth.
  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stock room
  • Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
  • Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
  • Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.

Expectations

  • Bachelor’s degree in any or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with experience in marketing and or promoting of any products
  • Basic IT, accounts and administrative experience
  • Strong background in retail, wholesale, and or food service product flow, marketing, and sales with industry experience of at least 3 years.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good use of Computer
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Self-starter and Self-motivated.

 

Job Title: Operations Manager, Engineering

  • Plan, manage, supervise and evaluate electrical or mechanical maintenance and repair activities.
  • Supervise contractors, subcontractors and engineers on entire maintenance aspect.
  • Integrate with customer for changes and operational requirements.
  • Estimate cost estimates for maintenance activities and equipment.
  • Analyze, forecast and manage operations and maintenance costs.
  • Analyze purchases of supplies, tools and equipment.
  • Support preparation of annual operating budgets.
  • Analyze, approve and recommend approval of all change requests, orders, invoices and payment applications.
  • Establish bidding procedures as required for contract maintenance activities.
  • Administer engineering maintenance contracts.
  • Schedule maintenance activities complying with customer operational requirements.

Expectations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or any other technical background
  • Project management experience would be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 10 years post NYSC experience in a structured firm/s, having attained a middle
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with passion and zeal
  • Ability to take responsibility with the prospect of becoming a business owner/partner
  • Ability to network with a natural bent for business development
