We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Office Assistant

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

  • Cleaning, stocking and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
  • Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects Logistics
  • Transport and deliver goods between different locations when the need arises.
  • Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment: Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer.
  • Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.
  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
  • Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost.
  • Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • A holder of SSCE or OND
  • Knowledge of corporate etiquettes
  • Previous experience as an office assistant and receptionist
  • Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
  • Warm personality with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision.

 

Job Title: Machine Operator (Printing)

Location: Lagos

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Mix paint and inks to blend with materials being printed and job order specification
  • Correct printing errors on materials
  • Evaluate job orders and specification to know details like number of materials to be printed, time given for collection, and color sequences
  • Check printed materials for clarity, accuracy, quality, finishing and other production factors
  • Minimize period by troubleshooting stoppages and breakdowns
  • Operate machine to give printing directions in accordance to job order and specification
  • Ensure that color heads, rollers and ink fountains are clean
  • Assign labels and stamp to boxes containing printed materials
  • Ensure that production plates and ink containers are cleaned after production
  • Create space in the printing room by removing excess boxes out of the way
  • Receive orders from clients, calculate bills and receive payments
  • Ensure that printing equipment is well lubricated by applying oil in appropriate places
  • Make suggestions in the design and layout of jobs to be printed.

Job Title: Screen Printer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Prints designs on textiles, such as cloth, towels, bath cloths, sheets, and pillowcases, using screen and squeegee
  • Sets register guides along edge of printing table at intervals specified for pattern repeat.
  • Pours color paste onto screen and positions screen against guides over cloth.
  • Draws squeegee across screen to press color paste through open portion of screen and print design.
  • Repeats process with different screen for each color in design.
  • Washes screens with water or solvent to remove color paste.

Job Title: Tailor

Location: Lagos

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sew garments, clothing or other articles using needle and thread, sewing machines, and other sewing equipment.
  • Assemble garment parts and join parts with basting stitches.
  • Make made-to-measure clothing according to customers’ and clothing manufacturers’ specifications and fit, and applying principles of garment design.
  • Fit and study garments on customers to determine required alterations.
  • Repair textiles or apparel by removing stitches from garments to be altered using rippers or razor blades.
  • Repair or replace defective garment parts such as pockets, zippers, snaps, buttons and linings.
  • Smooth garments using irons, steamers, presses, or other machines.
  • Maintain garment drape and proportions as alterations are performed.
  • Develop, copy or adapt designs for garments and design patterns to fit measurements, applying knowledge of garment design, construction, styling, and fabric.
  • Measure customers using tape measure and record measurements.
  • Make garment style changes, such as tapering pant legs, narrowing lapels and adding or removing padding.
  • Work with procurement to estimate how much a garment will cost to make, based on factors such as time and material requirements.
  • Cut fabrics and position patterns on equipment, materials and workplaces.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • A male preferably
  • Prior experience in tailoring is required.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical functions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures in tailoring.
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks, sometimes simultaneously.
