Job Title: Social Media Executive

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

  • Manages all social media channels and campaigns to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction.
  • Researches and analyses social media trends, including social media Ad revenue and web visitor data, to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy.
  • The candidate will work with various company departments to promote overall brand through the major social media channels.

Job Duties

  • Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies
  • Produce content for social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google + and Pinterest
  • Keep up to date with any social media trends
  • Track social media influencers
  • Ensure you produce a consistent brand message across all the social media channels
  • Regularly monitor competitor social media sites and create competitor analysis reports
  • Contribute to the company blog on a weekly basis
  • Assist with social media performance reports
  • Creating, Observing and responding to conversation on all social media
  • Assist with the planning of marketing strategies to help drive traffic and engagement to the website
  • Manage our social media accounts by implementing strategies and tactics that grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promoters of our company.
  • You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.
  • Analyses social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement
  • Works with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages
  • Prepare weekly updates and reports to track growth and success rates of the various campaigns
  • Develop engaging and creative content for daily post.
  • Manage and maintain the organization’s website(s)
  • Carry out all related job functions.

Requirements

  • Hands on experience in content management and social media management
  • Experience using social media monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with online marketing channels
  • Ability to deliver creative content (Text, Images, Video)
  • Good copywriting Skills
  • Multitasking Skills
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat and emerging social networks.
  • Understands and can utilize emerging platforms, digital media and web/ social media management and measurement tools ( e,g Hootsuite, Google Analytics and Facebook Insights )
  • Excellent practical understanding of social media and digital content.
  • Day-to-day social media posting and engagement experience.
  • Online customer service and web experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of email marketing applications ( e.g. constant contact)
  • Experience in Photoshop, Excel and other online basics.
  • Hands on experience using social media for brand awareness.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and Adaptability.
  • One to Two Years Experience in Social Media Management with a proven track record of performance
  • Marketing experience
  • Graphics Design, Data Collection and Analysis.
