Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos
Division: Business Development, Group: Large Corporates and Financial Institutions

Job Profile

  • To ensure speedy acquisition, management and retention of all target clients
  • Such customer relationships must also be developed and maintained by providing excellent relationship management backed by innovative products and services that add value to the Customer while minimizing costs and risk to the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business acquisition
  • Close Monitoring of Customers Insurance portfolio
  • Maintain good relationship with current and prospective customers
  • Achieve set financial Targets
  • Analyze and interpret customer data and recommend value adding insurance products to the customer
  • Prepare periodic reports for the team
  • Assist in preparing the Team’s budget
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Relationship Manager

Required Qualification/Experience/Professional Membership

  • First Degree in Social Sciences/Business Administration with a minimum of Second Class honours. Relevant Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
  • A recognized professional certification will be an added advantage
  • 5 years relevant experience and exposure in the marketing of insurance services

Job Title: Unit Head, Client Services

Location: Lagos
Division: Client Services

Job Profile

  • To co-ordinate the company’s Client Services activities with the aim of maximizing value to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • To take charge of the Client Servicing Unit as the Supervising Officer
  • To manage all clients accounts as contained in the list handed over to you in all matters relating to general business
  • To ensure that our service benchmarks indicatedby service deadlines are kept
  • To ensure proper and regular recording of all business intakes in the manner already designated in the department
  • To ensure proper and regular recording of all claims incurred in respect of all the clients in the claim register in the manner already designated in the department
  • To ensure regular visitation of all the clients in the company’s stable with a view to resolving all matters that may cause frictions between the company and the clients and to seek to expand the frontier of business patronage at each visit
  • To ensure proper debiting of all transactions that comes to the company appertaining to your area of supervision
  • To ensure growth of Commission Income within the unit by expanding the portfolio under management both vertically and horizontally i.e. expand existing business and introduce new ones
  • To ensure proper safe keeping and maintenance of all company’s assets within the department
  • To ensure confidentiality of all information relating to all the clients under your supervision
  • To ensure proper motivation and discipline of all staff under supervision
  • To promote the good image of the company in the discharge of your duty both within and outside the company’s premises
  • To undertake any other assignment as delegated to you by Management
  • To report directly to the Operation Manager (Technical)
