Job Description

  • SDSD specialise in software development and technology services for over 600 clients in the global maritime industry.
  • For our software training academy we are looking for good or experienced software developers who have experience or flair in teaching and motivating novice students in becoming world class developers within the shortest time possible.

 

Job Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels are essential.
  • Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and test driven development.
  • Must be a fast learner.
  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Must be a good or experienced programmer in any of the following programming languages and frameworks C#, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, PHP/Laravel, Javascript/Angular/React, Java/Spring, Golang, Java/Android, Kotlin/Android, IOS/Swift.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily live coding activities for students
  • Prepare software projects for students to test their programming skills regularly
  • Instruct students on an individual or group basis
  • Use software projects to assess student performance
  • Teach programming languages to students
  • Teach software development life cycle to students
  • Teach software development methodologies
  • Draft software programming courses for students
