Job Title: Expert – Nigeria FCO Global Future Cities Programme

Locations: Lagos and Ogun

About the Opportunity

• We are sourcing a unique team of experts to deliver the UK FCO Prosperity Fund Global Future Cities Programme in Nigeria
• The programme will implement a number of multi-year interventions in Lagos and Ogun States
• These interventions will produce guidelines and plans for urban development and urban renewal; and urban land and water transportation management
• The final results of the programme will inform and influence urban development in Lagos and Ogun states – in Lagos Megacity and Abeokuta in particular – into the future.

What we’re looking for
We are sourcing technical expertise to fulfil a number of short- and long-term positions, covering junior, mid-level and senior positions. Long-term positions will be based in Lagos. Whether you are a national or international expert, we expect you to have strong experience in Nigeria in relevant technical areas:

• Urban Planning
• Civil/infrastructure/municipal engineering
• Environmental management
• Land use planning
• GIS
• Architecture/urban design
• Master planning
• Urban resilience
• Transportation planning
• Transport economics and finance
• Traffic management
• Gender and social inclusion
