Job Title: Quality Control Officer
Location

Reporting to: HOD Quality Control
Job Description

  • We hope to find an experienced, dedicated Quality Control Officer to join our team.
  • In this position, you will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily quality inspections during order picking
  • Conduct daily pre-dispatch quality checks on all product lines
  • Conduct Incoming shipment/delivery quality inspections on all produce lines
  • Provide accurate and timely Quality reporting
  • To oversee training of warehouse staff performing quality inspections
  • Oversee and check the setup of the QC area for equipment, calibration of scales, stationary, forms and files
  • To undertake other duties as requested
  • Ensure proper housekeeping of the units and Factory in general
  • Where required, to liaise with the customers on quality issues, complaints and developments.
  • Health and Safety requirements: Employees must ensure they do not compromise the safety of themselves or others.
  • Manage and update all forms and record keeping of quality
  • Oversee all on HOLD/REJECT product and ensure audit trails
  • Issue visa for “release of goods quality check pass-slip” for products that are tested as fit for dispatch.
  • Ensure record keeping and filing is correct and consistent
  • Management of quality manual systems and compliance
  • Minimize loss of materials through poor handling and storage practices and sign off on all product dumped due to poor quality.

Job Title: Parts Store Supervisor
Location: Ogun
Reporting To: HOD Store
Job Description

  • We are searching for an organized and detail-oriented Spare Part storekeeper to supervise and direct the activities of lower-level staff responsible for warehouse activities
  • The work requires knowledge of methods and procedures related to the receipt, storage, and requisitions of supplies and materials, and supervisory techniques, personnel policies, and procedures
  • The employee plans and lays out his/her own work assignments and the work of other warehouse personnel, and reviews work performance and products to ensure conformance with established methods, practices, and procedures

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must have a thorough insight of plastic producing machine and must have a working knowledge of which parts are most needed for specific machines.
  • Must have business savvy, as the parts department is an important source of profit for the company
  • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
  • Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.

Job Description

  • We hope to find an experienced, dedicated Quality Control Supervisor to join our team.
  • To perform On-line supervision of products, supervise the activates of QC Checkers , perform other duties such as ensuring conformance to standards ,completion of reports, carry out tests and supervision of testing machines ; and assist the HOD in carrying out any other assigned duties in the Dept.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in inspecting incoming materials, in process molded plastic components, and finished fabricated plastic products to ensure adherence to company quality standards and customer specifications: Draws sketch and writes inspection procedure for each new item to be fabricated, indicating areas to be examined, measuring devices to be used, and maximum and minimum acceptable dimensions.
  • Distributes sketch and procedure to engineering, production control, and inspection work stations.
  • Supervise the usage /mixing of the material in the production floor
  • To check conformance test colour, leakages, capping, weight, volume and wall thickness on each product, time to time
  • To fill and document on-line daily report form
  • To carry out daily stack test on each product where applicable, and document report, for recording purposes.
  • To supervise testing machine and write report and submit same to the HOD
  • To check transfer paper from production and carry out all necessary amendment, stamp and pass it to the Stores-In–Charge/ Officer.
  • To ensure good housekeeping in the quality department and in the production Floor, and in the Factory in general.
  • Repeats inspection procedure until product meets quality standards and specifications are attained.
  • Confers with customer representative to resolve complaints.
  • Notifies suppliers and subcontractors of reasons for rejection of materials and parts received.
  • Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.

Job Title: Quality Control Shift Checker

Reporting to: HOD Quality Control
Job Description

  • We hope to find an experienced, dedicated Quality Control Shift Checker to join our team.
  • To ensure all products are produced in line with set standard, carrying out tests, measurements and checks as required and specified; monitoring and observing operations and ensuring they are in conformance with quality standards.
  • Ensuring that production runs in line with MRP, relate and discuss inspection results with QA superiors and Production personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To ensure that all product produced were in line with standard specification
  • To carry out drop test , stack test , compression test , perform checking, according to procedure
  • To remove and place sample CONFIRMED OKAY on the sample rank on machine
  • Online checking should be carried out every 45minutes with proper documentation
  • To ensure that all running product have the right sample placed on their machine
  • To monitor and observe operation to ensure that they meet production standard
  • To ensure that none of the defected products leaves the production floor to end user
  • To ensure that proper checking / sorting are done on all products before giving approval
  • To ensure that product running are in line with MRP plan
  • To recommend adjustments to the process or assembly of product mould.
  • Discuss inspection result with the Q.A and those responsible for production
  • Remove all products and material that fail to meet specification
  • To ensure that leakage testing machines are in good condition before usage
  • To ensure all jerry – cans are duly tested on leakage testing machine
  • To perform any other tasks that may be assigned to you by the Management.

  • To prepare daily, weekly production planning, and any other production planning schedule, as may be required, and directed.
  • To prepare and submit daily production report on all production activities.
  • Submit weekly production report on workers’ performance, machine performance and production output /target performance.
  • To co-ordinate and guide the activities of the Production Supervisors
  • To monitor and ensure optimal allocation and utilization of workers, in the Dept. for effective result and performance
  • To co-ordinate staff activities and matters in the Department, and ensure discipline and compliance with laid down rules and regulations and standards in the discharge of their duties
  • Ensure adequate record keeping of all production records, both in hard and e-copies
  • Supervise collection of raw materials from the Stores
