Job Title: Intern Radiographer

Job Summary

  • The Intern Radiographer is responsible for providing patient-centered care that addresses health needs of our patients

Key Result Areas (KRA)

  • Assisting in scheduling patient’s appointment with the radiologist.
  • Manage patient’s records.
  • Assist the Radiographers to process images and maintain proper inventory of supplies
  • Collate data for weekly reports

The Person

  • Must have a current internship license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc) in Radiography
  • Possess high degree of accuracy and attention to details

Job Title: Consultant Anaesthetist

Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for providing and administering anesthesia following approved guidelines and managing patients in the theatre.

Key Result Areas (KRA)
The key result areas of this role are:

Clinical Service Delivery:

  • To provide quality anesthetic care to patients
  • Develop, implement and maintain a quality assurance programms for the anesthetic and intensive care service
  • Execute thorough evaluation of patient’s medical and surgical history to ascertain history of drug acceptance and reaction.

Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for providing high quality clinical radiological service that supports the diagnosis and treatment of patients in the hospital.

Key Result Areas (KRA)
The key result areas of this role are:
Clinical Service Delivery:

  • To supervise and be responsible for the clinical work and keeping of records staff attached to his/her department in the hospital.
  • Undertake and report on radiological diagnostic and interventional procedures where appropriate for expertise and when credentialing requirements are met.
  • Provide expert advice to referring clinicians on the most appropriate diagnostic investigations.
  • Advice and support other radiology staff in the radiological process.
  • Contribute to quality patient care by participating in case planning with other members of the patient medial team.

  • The job holder must have good communication skills, self discipline and excellent long term concentration.
  • Job holder must have a working knowledge of global quality assurance, clinical audit principles and processes and must exhibit a commitment towards continuous quality improvement.
  • Minimum of 5 years cognate experience.

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

  • The Pharmacy technician assists the pharmacist in providing medication and other health care products to patients.

Key Result Areas (KRA)

  • Organize medications for Pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities, assembling intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
  • Receive written prescription or refill request from patients and verify that information is complete and accurate.
  • Deliver appropriate medications and pharmaceutical supplies in the right quantity to patients, nursing stations or surgery.
  • Verify prescription information and dosage.
  • Prepare the prescription labels, select the type of prescription container, and affix the prescription and auxiliary labels to the container.
  • Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, ensuring First-in-First-Out (FIFO) system is strictly adhered to, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt and removing outdated drugs.
  • Order, label, and count stock of medications, chemicals, and supplies, and enter inventory data into computer.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and inform pharmacist of stock needs and shortages.

  • Minimum academic qualification of Pharmacy Technician Certificate.

Job Summary

  • The job holder is responsible for performing a variety of venipuncture and skin puncture techniques involved in the accurate collection of blood, body fluid and tissue specimens from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases.

Key Result Areas (KRA)

  • Perform a variety of routine blood drawing procedures to include venipuncture and skin puncture techniques using standard equipments such as vaccutainer tubes and sleeves, tourniquets, syringes and butterfly needles.
  • Utilize standard procedures for the maintenance of positive patient identification.
  • Record appropriate collection information on proper requisitions.
  • Prepare, process and label store patient specimens and samples according to departmental procedures using standard techniques and equipments.
  • Maintain specimen integrity by using aseptic technique and observing isolation procedures.
  • Transport specimens or fluid samples from collection site to laboratories.
  • Track collected specimens by initialling, dating, noting collection time and maintaining daily tallies of collections performed.
  • Administer subcutaneous or intramuscular injections in accordance with licensing restrictions.

  • Minimum academic qualification of Medical Laboratory Technician Certificate of the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria.
  • 1 to 3 years work experience in a hospital that encompasses phlebotomy skills.

Job Summary

  • The role is responsible for studying organisms that cause illness, infections, including viruses, bacteria, archaea, fungi, algae and protozoa in patients, diagnosing patients and preventing epidemics in Lily hospitals.
  • The job holder is also responsible for investigating the causes of contagious diseases and researching new treatments for infections.

Key Result Areas (KRA):

  • Observe, monitor and identify microorganisms.
  • Track microorganisms in a range of environments.
  • Collect, monitor and assess samples from a range of sources.
  • Use a variety of identification methods, including molecular techniques, to test samples and determine infection causing organism.
  • Develop new techniques, products and processes.
