Job Title: Graphics/Instructional Designer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Brief Description
- The Graphics Designer will be responsible for the development of the overall layout and instructional designs and production design for the Learning Management System (LMS), advertisements, brochures, magazines, logos, product packaging, displays and corporate reports/communication/identity; ensure that all work meets the overall company brand standards and creative objectives set by Zercom Systems Nigeria Limited.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Graphics Team to determine requirements of each project.
- Work to tight deadlines ensuring accuracy and output quality does not suffer.
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Maintains an updated historical file of all creative materials/works produced.
- Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, logos, websites, etc.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design.
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within time and cost constraints
- Present finalised concepts and design to the Head, Business Support
- Working as part of a team with illustrators, web developers, etc.
- Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
- Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
- Liaising with external printers (when the need arises) to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
- Carryout all other duties as assigned by the Management of Zercom Systems.
Qualifications/Specification
- B.Sc in Computer Science or related fields.
- Experience as an Instructional Designer will be an added advantage
- Excellent use of Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate is highly needed
- Adequate knowledge of Photoshop, Corel draw, XD, XM, Html, CSS

Job Title: PHP Programmer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Brief Description
- The PHP programmer will be responsible for writing of PHP computer programming language codes, She/he would also be responsible for the maintenance of all the company’s application deployed to clients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Write codes in PHP programming language.
- Maintain client’s LMS.
- Fix all bugs that might occur on the LMS.
- Writing of backend codes for consumption by a mobile application.
- Development and designing of web APIs.
- Deployments of solutions on client site.
- Advice the company and clients on technical issues and create solutions to problems
- Carryout all other duties as assigned by the Management of Zercom Systems.
Qualifications/Specification
- B.Sc in Computer Science or related fields.

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in PHP programming language and Laravel framework.
- Proficiency in any other PHP frameworks is a plus.
- A deep understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript languages.
- Ability to write clean and efficient codes to achieve a desired goal.
- Ability to write codes using the Object-Oriented Programming method.
- Ability to work in a team.
- A good communication skill.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- An excellent debugging skill.
- Ability to learn fast.
- Ability to design APIs for consumption by mobile applications.
- Ability to use the git versioning tool is a plus.
- An understanding of databases and their query languages, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.
- Ability to write efficient database queries using JOINS.
