Job Title: IP NOC Engineer

Responsibilities
The IP NOC Engineer will be responsible for the following functions:
- Maintain and ensure full compliance with all Main One’s NOC processes and procedures
- Open a trouble ticket (TT) for every network event and ensure it is tracked up to the point of closure.
- Ensure proper technical documentation of all network events throughout normal/shift cycle or operations.
- Monitor Main One’s network providing specific update, status and performance of all network components, capacity services etc.
- Identify and provide at least first line support on all faults on the Main One network in accordance with the Company’s standard operating procedure for fault escalation and management.
- Ensure all customer SLAs are met.
- Answer all network support related telephone calls and interface with internal/external customers on operational issues and related network events, using Main One’s standard operating procedures.
- Run daily and weekly management reports on network events and activities as well as tracking escalations and other key performance indicators.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
- HND/BSc. Degree in Computer Science or in a related discipline.
- 3-5 years’ working experience in similar position
- Good communication skills.
- Relevant Professional/Technical certifications preferably CCNA & CCNP
- Routing Protocol troubleshooting experience (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Good knowledge of networking technologies- TCP/IP, BGP, DNS

Job Title: Facility Engineer
Location: Saka, Lagos

Responsibilities
The Facility Engineer will be responsible for the following functions:
- Perform 1st line troubleshooting of faults involving the generators and other facilities
- Provisioning of power and installation of AC & DC equipment.
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly and Monthly reports.
- Ensuring that safety and health standards at work are adhered to
- Acts as the primary contact for all third party (facilities) related issues (emergencies and repairs)
- Ensure 100% availability of power and manage diesel supply and replenishment process in all MainOne POPs.
- Maintenance of all MainOne and third party POP facilities as well as service coordination and service providers’ management
- Carry out regular assessment of POP facilities to determine items that are due for replacement or repair and initiate appropriate action
- Work on shift basis under pressure and ability to manage with stress
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
- BSc/HND in any relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years in telecom facility operations & maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.
- Facilities management.
- Project management.
- Excellent people skills.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Contract/vendor management skills
- Good interpersonal relationship.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in working with AC and DC power systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
