The company is looking to re-position itself to capitalize on new and emerging opportunities for enhanced growth and profitability and therefore is searching for qualified and effectual professionals to join its Executive Management Team in the vacant position below:

 

Job Title: Company Secretary

Location: Nigeria

Job Decription

  • This position reports directly to the Board, and indirectly to the CEO
  • This position has the responsibility to ensure that the members of the Board and the Executive Management receive legal advisory and secretariat support necessary to discharge their duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective servicing of the Board, its Committees and associated meetings, which include summoning meetings, preparing agenda, board papers, policies and charters, collating papers and ensuring timely distribution
  • Supervise and ensure proper management of legal records, board resolutions, minutes of Board Committees’ and Board Meetings and Board Committee Charters, Register of members and other documents relating to the Board of the company;

Required Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of a First Degree in Law or any other relevant discipline. An MBA, Master’s Degree in any Business related discipline or Advanced Management Programme is an added advantage
  • Professional membership in a relevant industry association is required e.g. Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA)
  • Minimum of ten (10) years LLB cognate experience as a Legal Practitioner or Company Secretary in a bank, reputable investment firm or any other related industry.

 

Job Title: Divisional Head, Business Development

Location: Nigeria

Job Decription

  • This position reports directly to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for managing, establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships
  • The incumbent will develop plans for delivering effective marketing strategies and monitor the progress of new and existing products to ensure growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities geared towards maximizing the company’s earnings and coordinate all initiatives to support business intelligence required for long-term strategies of the Company
  • Develop and implement growth initiatives and objectives including new products and businesses
  • Monitor, control and achieve sales and customer support revenue volumes and gross margin against budgeted targets
  • Oversee the activities of all units within the Sales and Business Development Department and provide leadership and direction within the Division
  • Collaborate closely with the central/regional and cross-functional teams, aligning on strategy, product roadmap and prioritization, go-to-market approach, execution planning and performance tracking.

Required Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of a University Degree in Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration or any other relevant discipline from a reputable institution.
  • An MBA or Master’s Degree in any Business related discipline is an added advantage
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience, with at least five (5) years’ experience in an Executive Management role
  • Experience in the Capital Markets or Financial Services sector and good knowledge of Information Technology
  • Experience working with CRM (Client Relationship Management) systems
  • Understanding of website analytics, content management and digital marketing.


Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Nigeria

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy Formulation and Implementation:

  • Work with other members of the executive team to develop, finance and implement growth initiatives and objectives including new products and businesses
  • Develop strategic financial initiatives for company in the manner that will assist in achieving the company’s objectives
  • Identifie opportunities geared towards maximising company’ earnings
  • Provide strategic financial management and leadership support across the business, in line with the overall corporate strategy
  • Develop, update and implement finance and tax strategies, policies and processes

Finance Planning and Budget Preparation:

  • Initiate and co-ordinate the formulation of the financial plan and annual budgets. Monitors progress towards their achievement
  • Engage Executive Management and the appropriate Board Committees to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections for company
  • Develop and utilise financial models and activity-based financial analysis to provide a basis for investment decisions and business planning
  • Provide advice on liquidity, investment and financial asset management
  • Develop appropriate investment policies for the optimal investment of the company’s investible funds
  • Manage the company’s treasury assets to achieve optimal sourcing, application and growth of funds

Finance Operations:

  • Develop and implement a sound accounting framework in compliance with statutory provisions
  • Develop and implement a robust and reliable financial reporting system in compliance with statutory requirements
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the financial records/Books of Accounts of company
  • Ensure that the annual financial statements and statutory reports are prepared in a timely manner, accurately and in accordance with standards and regulations
  • Ensure company’ statutory obligations are fulfilled in an efficient and effective manner
  • Provide and interpret financial management information for effective decision making and to maximise returns on business
  • Monitor and control revenue and expenses (opex and capex) to ensure operational and financial efficiency
  • Approve payroll along with the Human Resources Department
  • Drive a cost-saving culture across all areas of the business

Stakeholder and External Relations:

  • Maintain effective engagement with shareholders of the Company
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors; and ensures the annual and/or periodic audits are seamlessly carried out
  • Liaise with current and future investors to ensure value is maximized

People Management:

  • Oversee the activities of all units within the Finance Team, including Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting, Treasury Management and Investor Relations
  • Develop capability of subordinates towards the achievement of departmental performance target

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum of university degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other relevant discipline from a reputable institution
  • Relevant professional certifications e.g. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or equivalents
  • An MBA or Masters degree in a related discipline
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience, with at least five (5) years’ experience in an Executive Management role
  • Experience in the Capital Markets or Financial Services sector
  • Good knowledge of the Capital Market and Information Technology and Commercial functions with bottom line accountability

 

Job Title: Divisional Head, Shared Services

Location: Nigeria

Job Decription

  • This position reports directly to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for formulating strategies and overseeing all operations in the shared services division, specifically – Clearing & Settlement, Corporate Services, Human Resources and Legal Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously evaluate the company’s strategy in line with market developments, regulation and the economy as well as oversee its implementation across reporting departments
  • Ensure effective control and management of company operations, including but not limited to evaluating operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance, promote best practices, and assure that the company is constantly improving its competitive position
  • Determine which activities, projects or issues require a legal opinion and ensure the provision and supervision of such services, as required
  • Oversee the human resources function, ensuring the provision of advice on HR matters to the CEO and Management team, including the development and review of relevant HR strategies, policies and procedures
  • Monitor, control and achieve sales and customer support revenue volumes against budgeted targets
  • Provide strong leadership, direction, performance management and development to all human capital within the Shared Services divisionExperience in the Capital Markets or Financial Services sector.

Required Qualification & Experience

  • A First Degree in a business-related discipline or Law with an MBA or relevant Masters degree

Job Title: Divisional Head, Information Technology

Location: Nigeria

Job Decription

  • This position reports directly to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
  • The incumbent will be responsible for sustaining and evolving the company’s IT-strategy, operational systems and capabilities in line with strategic business objectives; as well as emerging operating environment and industry trends.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate divisional strategy and oversee its implementation across reporting departments
  • Ensure effective and efficient management of ICT operations and supporting infrastructure, as well as their optimal use and maintenance
  • Drive the management of IT-related operational risks, including overseeing the implementation of IT security strategies, disaster recovery and Business Continuity plans that minimise the risk of data loss and information breaches and ensure continued operations
  • Manage all relevant stakeholder and external relations
  • Provide strong leadership, direction, performance management and development to all human capital within the Information Technology Division

Required Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of a First Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field. A Master’s Degree in a related discipline is an added advantage
  • Relevant professional certification such as ITIL is required. Others such as CCNP, MCP or CCNA are an added advantage
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience, with at least five (5) years’ experience in an Executive Management role
  • Experience in IT Strategy Development, Project Management, IT Service Management
