We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Operator I

Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Contracts
Job Nature: Rotation (2 weeks on/2 weeks off)

Job Descriptions

  • Responsible to implement on daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental and security
  • Active participation on daily toolbox meetings and regular, reported safety meetings
  • Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions by the continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient and safe operational conditions
  • Function as Equipment Care Technician, and routinely use Maintenance skills in performing simple maintenance activities
  • Report when the alarm, emergency or emergency shutdown system is out of service
  • Provide detailed, clear and accurate information when changing shift, to guarantee that unit conditions are updated and ensure operations continuity
  • Coordinate, control and monitor maintenance jobs according with the corrective, predictive and preventive planning
  • Report continuously in the log book all relevant operational events and abnormal situations or deviation occurred in the work area, equipment or personnel
  • Take samples of products for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests
  • Active participation on emergency response activities
  • Report incidents internally and escalate awareness as per the Incident Reporting Guidelines
  • Ensure that Operations Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted about operations activities
  • Ensure good communication across the work team so that issues / actions can be adequately addressed
  • Provide the basic facts concerning well producing problems, current production rates, and current condition of the well
  • Ensure that the well problem diagnostics are thorough and complete before requesting Well Work intervention operations
  • Ensure that the wellhead and well surface equipment are maintained and are in good working order prior to Wellwork operations taking over responsibility for the well for intervention operations
  • Provide assistance and support to the ongoing Wellwork operations as needed

Job Requirements

  • Completed secondary education and worked previously as a Field Technician.
  • Good communications (oral & written)
  • High standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.

Job Title: Plant Process Operator II

Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Contracts
Job Nature: Rotation (2 weeks on/2 weeks off)

Main Functions

  • Responsible for liaising with the Control Room Technician (CRT) and other Operations Technicians on job safety requirements to ensure understanding of the work objectives, safety, health, environmental, Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) and security concerns.
  • Responsible for supporting the CRT/Ops Supervisor in providing oversight of the area activities and ensuring they are integrated and conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Works in a crew environment to manage activities involved with safe and efficient operation of all plant units and sulfur recovery operations.
  • Performs surveillance of equipment.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Work cooperatively with Contractor personnel to prepare and maintain a safe work environment for their work
  • Responsible for participation in the Operations Emergency Response activities relating to the Area
  • Provide support and coordination with the Systems Completion team in start-up and commissioning of the facilities
  • Take part in the review of work packages for planned maintenance activities within allocated Area, confirms that isolation requirements are applied, and ensures that the preparation of equipment is planned in a manner that provides a safe environment in which personnel can work
  • Endorse Work Permits as the Area Operator (AO) . Endorse Work Permits as the Isolating Authority (IA) when required.
  • Encourages team effort between Maintenance and Operations groups
  • Supports work prioritization to maximize effectiveness and to complement the efforts of other work groups
  • Ensuring the CRT is informed and consulted about operations and major issues
  • Ensures good communication between Areas so that issues can be adequately addressed and actions completed
  • Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in allocated Area
  • Maintain a daily log and shift changeover notes
  • Safely perform physical tasks at times, e.g. moving drums of chemicals, lifting, climbing ladders/silos/tanks
  • May perform minor maintenance to equipment
  • Maintain a high standard of plant housekeeping
  • Make process changes to ensure quality control of end products that are within accepted standards

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years’ industry experience in operations, or similar; required
  • In depth knowledge in production operations/processes
  • In depth knowledge in P&IDs, PFD’s and UFD’s
  • Able to read shutdown logic diagrams
  • Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others
  • Excellent communications (oral & written) in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and motivation skills
  • Ability to interact in a multi-cultural environment
  • Advanced understanding and operation of Emergency Preparedness Procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of safety management tools and processes. (Permit to Work (PTW), Stepback 5×5, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment)
  • Understanding of Controls Integrity Management System (CIMS), safety management tools and Production Operations Best Practices (POBP)/ Planning & Budgeting (P&B) processes.

Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

  • In-charge of day to day running of the Projects on Site with the sole aim of ensuring Project objectives / targets are timely & satisfactorily achieved.
  • For each project and based on any specific Management requirements, proposes Scope of Works, Implementation Strategy, Bill Of Quantities, Cost Estimates, Safety Risk Analysis, Budget Financial Risk Analysis and delivery Plan, etc. & presents same for approval.
  • Plans the Execution of each project by establishing Work Procedures for each work package from Conceptual Design, Engineering Dossier to Procurement, Fabrications/Workshop works, Site Mobilization Preparations, Site Construction, Site Installations, Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning, Clients Documented Finished Works Acceptance, Site Demobilization and As-Built Documentation.
  • Renders periodic site activity / project performance reports as required by the entity.
  • Any other activities as may be assigned by the Project Leader.

Job Requirements

  • Experienced Project Engineer with a minimum of 12 years post qualification experience and at least 8 years cognate experience preferably in Oil & Gas Industry in Nigeria.
  • B.Eng. in Civil. (Minimum) (COREN & NSE Registered in Nigeria).
  • Professionalism in all work approaches.
  • Excellent critical and evaluation capabilities.
  • Problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong professional communication skills, including written and oral.
  • Design and drafting capabilities.
  • Extensive leadership, management and delegation experience.

  • Capable of supervising and managing all aspects of the project on site independently with a sound judgement of site progress works.
  • Capable of performing project cost estimates & evaluation.
  • Good spoken English language and writes well and able to deliver reports accurately.
  • Computer literate, conversant with projects mgt. tools e.g. Auto CAD, MS Projects, Primavera, advance Excel, Power points, Microsoft office etc.
  • Sound health and energetic and able to work long hours on site under pressure and manage well.
