Job Title: Personal Assistant
Location:
 Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Purpose

  • To provide personalized secretarial and administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner. You will work on a one-to-one basis on a variety of tasks related to the MD’s work life and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact between the MD and internal/external clients
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
  • Handle requests and queries appropriately
  • Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Make travel arrangements
  • Take dictation and minutes
  • Source office supplies
  • Produce reports, presentations and briefs
  • Devise and maintain office filing system
  • Carryout administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of HND in any discipline
  • Females are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Proven work experience as a personal assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • MS Office and English proficiency
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills

Job Title: Accountant
Location:
 Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Purpose

  • The candidate will oversee financial operations, strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and implementation of financial and compliance controls.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial monthly reports which includes the following:
    • Budget
    • Expected Vs Actual Income Statement
    • Profit &Loss Statement
  • Prepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliation statements
  • Manage general ledger maintenance process
  • Manage monthly account, close activities and reconciliation
  • Handle payroll related issues
  • Manage petty cash account and ensure timely reimbursement
  • Assist in preparation of periodic financial statements
  • Involved in tax authority matters with tax consultants
  • Process cheque payment
  • Oversee document management within the department
  • Ensure proper recording of revenue, purchases, disposals and all other transactions
  • Perform such other accounting, financial or administrative tasks as maybe required from time to time
  • Post all financial activities on QuickBooks/Sage 50 Accounting software

Requirements

  • Minimum of BSc/HND in Accounting
  • Proven work experience in similar role
  • Result oriented, strategic thinker and planner
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • High level of integrity with a strong sense of urgency
