We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HSE Site Lifting Specialist – LADOL (Local)

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

  • Continually liaise with DW CPLO to ensure that lifting and handling standards within COMPANY are consistently respected on site.
  • Ensure that COMPANY Rules and Procedures (Lifting Management System) regarding handling and lifting operations are well understood and applied by those involved.
  • Participate/assist the CPLO in the annual evaluation of and review of COMPANY approved 3rd Party Lifting Equipment certifiers list.
  • Perform technical inspection and evaluation of cranes and selected lifting equipment proposed for use on site and project; maintain up to date register of certification of all cranes in use within Deep water perimeter.
  • Assists CPLO in conducting periodic LMS audits of COMPANY assets and contractors working in the COMPANY perimeter.
  • Assists CPLO in conducting periodic LMS audits of drilling services companies.
  • Assists CPLO in conducting periodic LMS audits of contractors for AKPO and CLIENT.
  • Assists CPLO in conducting periodic LMS audits of selected companies for lifting operations call off contracts.
  • Liaise with entities and implement in synergy all actions resulting from LMS audits.
  • Specifying the testing/proof load requirements in accordance with statutory requirements, relevant standards and COMPANY rules on consultation with DW-CPLO.
  • Specifying the marking requirements in accordance with COMPANY rules.
  • Attend simple lifts on behalf of CPLO.
  • Gather anomalies related to DW and follow up actions with contractors by implementing synergy cases.
  • Interface with Field Ops to access the proper maintenance of all lifting equipment in use within DW assets.
  • Assist CPLO in organizing onshore pre-mobilization of heavy equipment of all type upon request from DW entities (ECP, Drilling & Field Ops. including SPS package in LiLE/ONNE)
  • Coach QA/QC lifting inspectors involved in DW & CLIENT perimeter.

Job Requirements

  • The Service holder must be capable of ensuring the application of handling & lifting procedures (LMS) implemented into the affiliate.
  • Must have knowledge of all applicable standards, in regards to lifting equipment certification.
  • Must have knowledge of all types of crane (e.g. crawler, mobile cranes with outriggers & pedestals)
  • Must have knowledge of all aspect of lifting inspection based on COMPANY requirements for the affiliate & project.
  • The ability to prepare reports of lifting audits of worksite and contractors,
  • Hold appropriate technical qualification(s) and have sufficient practical experience to demonstrate technical competence.
  • Good knowledge of English Language.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in equipment handling and lifting operations.
  • Qualification: HND/Degree in Engineering

Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

  • Supervision of production, In charge of materials logistics (full mass, packaging material &, finished goods transfers. GMP, good Environment keeper and in the plant.

Production – Responsible for the supervision of operation to achieve:

  • Plan production quantity and quality of products.
  • Achieve low cost of production.
  • Planning and organising production schedules
  • Oversee production processes
  • Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
  • Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
  • Supervising the work of junior staff
  • Organising relevant training sessions
  • Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
  • Estimate costs and prepare budgets
  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Monitor production to resolve issues
  • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
  • Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
  • Ensure output meets quality standards
  • Report to upper management
  • Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
  • Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines
  • Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel
  • Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
  • Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management
  • Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity
  • Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP software
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach

Logistics:

  • Ensure constant supply of quantity & quality mass for pressing & wrapping activities
  • Follow up with Laboratory for Release status
  • Ensure constant supply of Packaging materials to the plant.
  • Observation of material usages, variances & initiate immediate actions to management

Environment & safety:

  • Maintain high level of GMP and 5s’ in plant
  • Maintain very high hygiene in the plant
  • Participate actively in the Accident prevention programmes by ensuring and creating high safety awareness towards people and providing solutions to defectives equipment’s in the areas of responsibility.

Organisation:

  • To stimulate good social climate among players of teams
  • Ensure good staff organisation in the plant
  • Ensure good relief for staff during annual leave
  • Identify, propose training to staff in need

Job Requirements
Ideal educational background, experience:

  • Min of 6 years’ experience in same or similar capacity within the FMCG industry
  • Minimum of B.Sc. /B.Tech. /HND in Engineering discipline.
  • Experienced in Seasoning/ culinary/ food producing industry will be an added advantage
