ASC Nigeria Limited is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candiates to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Principal Planning Engineer

Location: Rivers

Job Descriptions

The duties will includes but are not limited to the following:

  • Project Planning and Schedule Control
  • Provision of project management support in the development of Projects Portfolio activities, resources planning leading to the creation of the Overall Project Portfolio baseline schedule and its subsequent maintenance to achieve schedule performance.
  • Maintain the overall Project Portfolio Schedule at levels 1-5 required to develop and execute each approved project in their hierarchy relationship to meet project’s requirements.
  • Develop and update the planning and progress measurement and monitoring procedures to ensure sustainable and continuous improvement in line with Quality Management System requirements

Job Requirements
The right candidate should possess the following

  • A University degree in Engineering or Sciences or any other certification required for the job.
  • 12 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry, of which at least 10 years in a planning role in Oil and Gas industry. An understanding of contracting strategy, project optimization processes, construction constraints are prerequisite for the job.
  • Extensive skills in the use of Primavera planning tool is mandatory.
  • Ability to work across international/cultural boundaries.

 

Job Title: Risk Management Engineer

Location: Rivers State

Job Descriptions

The duties will includes but are not limited to the following:

  • Implement the project risk management process: risk identification and assessment; risk qualification and prioritization; risk response planning and implementation, risk information records; risk monitoring and control.
  • Carry out qualitative and quantitative risk analysis on projects: integrate input from the risk register, cost estimate and schedule into deterministic and probabilistic risk analyses to provide final cost and schedule range estimates.
  • Coordinate and (when necessary) facilitate risk management events such as risk workshops and risk review meetings with the participation of all key stakeholders.

The Person
The right candidate should possess the following:

  • A University degree in Engineering.
  • 3-5 years post-graduation experience in a core project function (Project Engineering, Construction, Project Services or Front end Development), preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Experience of Project Risk Register creation and maintenance.

Preferred:

  • Experience with qualitative modeling techniques and tools (Primavera Risk Analysis, @risk etc.) Certified qualification with respect to Risk Management systems and tools.

 

Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer

Location: Rivers State

Job Descriptions

The duties will includes but are not limited to the following:

Project Planning:

  • Coordinate in the provision of project management support in the development of the Client’s Projects Portfolio activities, resources planning leading to the creation of the Overall Project Portfolio baseline schedule and its subsequent maintenance to achieve schedule performance.
  • Assist where necessary to maintain the overall Project Portfolio Schedule at levels 1-4 required to develop and execute each approved project in their hierarchy relationship to meet the Client’s projects’ requirements.
  • Assist to develop and update the planning and schedule procedures to ensure sustainable and continuous improvements in line with the Client’s Quality Management System requirements.

The Person
The right candidate should possess the following:

  • B.Sc degree in Engineering discipline.
  • 10 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry, of which at least 5 years in a planning role in oil and gas industry.
  • An understanding of contracting strategy, project optimization processes, construction constraints are prerequisite for the job.
  • Extensive skills in the use of Primavera planning tool is mandatory.
  • Ability to work across international/cultural boundaries.
