Job Title: Internal Control Manager
Location: Osun
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits to verify whether departments follow the established procedures and processes also develop policies and procedures, ensure their implementation and monitor compliance
- Review existing accounting and financial controls and other legal compliance processes in place and make any necessary revisions or additions
- Develop policies and procedures, ensure their implementation and monitor compliance.
- Carry out control functions, reviews and approve disbursements requests and other requests.
- Monitor and provide advice to management to minimize risk resulting from poor controls
- Conduct audit testing of potential risk areas and identify reportable issues
Requirements
The ideal candidate must satisfy the following:
- A first degree in Accounting or Agricultural related field
- Membership of an accounting professional body will be an added advantage
- Must have practical experience in agro-business development and management of agriculture focused projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, such as Word and Excel, is required and ability to use tools to compile reports.
- Minimum of 5 years professional work experience out of which 3 years should be in the agricultural sector.
- Candidate must be willing to relocate or stay in Osun state
