Job Title: Welltest Supervisor

Job Requisition Number: 57958
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Overall purpose of the Job

  • To ensure all customer expectations are fulfilled at the well site through effective communication and support of the customer,  supervision of Expro crew, equipment and regular communication with Expro Well Test Operations Manager

Principal Accountabilities

  • Ensures a safe and healthy environment at the worksite through the effective application of the Company’s HSEQ systems.
  • Completion of all HSEQC and Operational Documentation required to be completed during and after each Well test operation and delivering the same to the Well Test Operations Manager for his review.
  • Overall responsibility for running the job at the wellsite and safe and effective management of any change.
  • Establish and maintain an effective relationship with the well site customer representative to ensure good two way communication and customer expectations are clearly understood.
  • Provide supervision of the crew to ensure that all personnel in the crew have the appropriate level of supervision, knowledge and understanding of the tasks to be performed.
  • Ensure coaching and development of the crew.
  • Provide the planning necessary for the job including equipment set-up, well site direction and customer-related support activities.
  • Perform cleaning, operational testing and pressure testing of equipment during the pre job procedures
  • Prepares and packs ancillary equipment to be used for the job
  • Performs pre/post job equipment inspections
  • Performs and completes preventative maintenance procedures for all of the equipment  on location
  • Assembles and prepares equipment for installation and service
  • Ensures that at rig down, clean up and preparation for the next job is effectively completed
  • Ensures completion of all required documentation relating to equipment and personnel in the course of the operations performed.
  • Ensures the customer is satisfied with the service provided including the accuracy of all data and reports provided.
  • Evaluates crew member performance during the job.
  • Supports company strategies for maintaining and improving business by promoting Expro capability with the Customer representative.
  • Identifies and communicates opportunities for business growth to onshore management, acting as the company representative at the worksite.

  • Completion of competence requirements as a Senior Operator and demonstrated ability to perform in role
  • Good interpersonal, mentoring and training skills
  • Self motivated and can work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations
  • Basic reading comprehension, writing skills and calculator skills required
  • Computer skills including MS Office and company software

Job Title: Welltest Operator

Overall Purpose of the Job

  • Assists during all phases of the rigging up and down of well test equipment on work locations for the purpose of providing services during the well testing and clean up phase of a well.
  • This is an intermediate, progressing role that requires development of advanced knowledge of operations and equipment.
  • The job develops increasing competencies in well test operations and services and routinely works in more than one type of well site as assigned by the Supervisor.

Principal Accountabilities

Job Title: Production Operations Process Engineer

Job Requisition Number: 57945
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Overall Purpose of the Job

  • Provide operational engineering support to the relevant area of responsibility. Ensure designs, drawings and documents produced meet Client, Operational, Industry Regulatory, Expro QMS and H&S requirements.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

  • Design products which are safe to manufacture, handle and operate; conform to applicable specification and meet certifying authority requirements and are cost effective, reliable and fit for purpose.
  • Produce/review engineering documentation including project design drawings, BOM’s, test procedures, reports etc.
  • Perform all relevant engineering calculations to verify design intent.
  • Operate Engineering systems and software packages.
  • Enter Engineering documents in the PDM system and configure.
  • Attend design reviews and engineering meetings as required.
  • Assist in training and development of operations engineering team.
  • Provide technical approval of invoices for work carried out.
  • Where changes are required on approved engineering documentation, Engineering Changes Notices (ECNs) are to be created, reviewed and approved through Advitium in a timely manner.
  • Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised. If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest.
  • Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorisation for any deviations from standard procedures.

Job Title: Production Operator 3

Location: Agbani, Enugu

Overall Purpose of the Job

  • To work within a team to assist under supervision with the running of Production operations on or offshore ensuring successful safe
  • operations in accordance with Company procedures and thereby ensuring a quality service to client.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

  • Carry out welltest operations with team members ensuring safe completion of the operational task with prevention of technical issues in line with the Operating manual.
  • Undertake checks on all equipment for their compliance with Expro’s policies, standards and procedures and ensure they are technically correct for the operation being carried out.
  • Attend and participate in tool box talks and planning meetings when required.
  • May be required to work at onshore bases in the preparation, maintenance and return of equipment.
  • Liaise with clients representatives when required in a professional manner ensuring quality of service to client.
  • Liaise with offshore Supervisor, team members, and operations department as and when required to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed as required with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication to achieve safe operations and task completion.
  • Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures, processes and specific client’s requirements.
  • Work with colleagues and Supervisor to complete required competencies for current and next role.

  • 4+ years technical experience preferable within welltest field
  • Practical work experience within an offshore environment
