Etazuma Mining & Industries Limited – Eta-Zuma Group is a company of 8 separate companies with exploration licenses covering diverse solid minerals like iron ore, gold, tantalite, coal, limestone/marble, etc. In April 2009, these eight companies were acquired by Energy and Metal Industries Limited to form the Eta-Zuma Group Limited.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Unit Head, Coal Briquettes and Coal Stove
Location: Abuja

Job Description

  • To supervise the Sales Officers and work alongside the team in achieving the marketing and sales objectives of the company through the achievement of the volume and value targets of the company’s range of products and execution of marketing programmes in the sales territories.
  • Achieve the distribution objectives of the company in assigned territory through cost effective management of time and working tools.
  • Propose for appointment, customers who meet the basic requirements for distributorship.
  • Make daily sales calls in assigned territory to distributors, retail customers, and prospective customers.
  • Create and maintain effective working relationship with the trade associations of the domestic cooking fuels with a view to recruiting their members as brand ambassadors, and obtaining their endorsement for the use of the stoves and coal briquettes by all in the rural and urban areas.
  • Achieve agreed volume and value sales targets in assigned territory of company’s products
  • Ensure effective management of trade customers, provide support for their redistribution staff and maintain good relationship with them at individual and group basis.
  • Provide detailed operational reports, competitors activities and market intelligence.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a graduate with a minimum of Five (5) years experience in sales/marketing. Postgraduate qualification in Business, Sales or Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Have good Communication and presentation skills.
  • Have the ability to see the big picture.
  • Have good team building and leadership skills.
  • Have good marketing and reporting skill.
  • Have a strong marketing acumen as demonstrated by experience.
  • Have experience selling/marketing in the energy/solid minerals sectors.
  • Very good relationship/client management skill.
  • Be a team player who can easily adapt to any environment.
  • Be result oriented (sales).
  • Be innovative and must have integrity.

Job Title: Sales Officer

Job Title: Head of Department, Sales and Distribution
Location: 
Abuja

Job Descriptions

  • To deliver on the set Volume targets
  • Improve the company’s liquidity state
  • Establish an efficient and effective aftersales service system.
  • Supervise and direct aspects of daily management for the Sales and Marketing Department.
  • Working closely with the Strategy department to devise an effective marketing strategy.
  • Recruitment and selection of new members of the marketing team.
  • Ensuring staffing levels are maintained in order to complete all aspects of the company’s marketing strategy.
  • Carrying out competitor analysis to ensure the company’s marketing strategy is competing effectively.
  • Reporting on all marketing activities to the executive management
  • Working closely with other heads of departments on company projects.
  • Completing various marketing projects at the request of executive management.
  • Making sure that brand guidelines are adhered to in all marketing activities across the various units.
  • Representing the company at industry events and conferences, trade fairs etc.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a graduate with a minimum of Ten (10) years experience in sales, marketing and distribution.
  • Must hold a Postgraduate qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing or Distribution.
  • Have good Communication and presentation skills.
  • Have the ability to see the big picture.
  • Knowledge of project planning and management.
  • Have good team building and leadership skills.
  • Have good marketing and reporting skill.
  • Have a strong marketing acumen as demonstrated by experience.
  • Have experience selling/marketing in the energy/solid minerals sectors.
