  • HIV Specialist will provide technical support at state level to implement high quality care, treatment and support activities with primary focus on technical areas of comprehensive TB and HIV/AIDS programs including laboratory pharmacy, logistics, prevention, care, treatment, TB, RMNCH, mitigation, monitoring and evaluation

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • MB.BS/MD/PhD or similar degree with 1 to 3 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource constrained settings.
  • Or MPH or MS/MA in relevant degree with 3 to 5 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource constrained settings.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • Degree level or relevant certification in International Relations, Security Management, Risk Management, Humanitarian work, ex-Military – Nigeria, SSS or Nigeria Police
  • A formal security qualification or security management training work experience in complex environments (minimal 5 years) Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi ethnic team experience and knowledge of personnel and organizational security issues, threat/risk assessment, security management and security awareness in complex context.

  • Education Coordinator Under the supervision of the Project Director, the Education Coordinator will be responsible for technical leadership of the remedial education program in the assigned states, providing expertise in instruction, assessment, research, coaching, training and materials development.
  • Working closely with the Technical Advisor and technical officers, S/he will ensure effective planning, delivery, monitoring and documentation of program interventions.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • Advanced degree in Education with a concentration in literacy, mathematics, primary education, remedial education, language acquisition or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the primary education sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with government, partners and/or local government structures and school settings.

  • Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator Under the supervision of the Project Director, the M&E Coordinator will oversee the monitoring and evaluation of technical activities in Kano and Kaduna.
  • By overseeing M&E officers in both states, s/he will monitor the flow of data collection and ensure accuracy of data for donor reporting and presentation.
  • S/he will also maintain regular communication with state-level partners to share data and information.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • Bachelor degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in the Numerical Sciences or Development Science with at least 3 years of work experience in monitoring and evaluation of education programs.
  • Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences with a minimum of 1 year post national youth service experience in laboratory services on laboratory management of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT, TB and PEPFAR program.

  • Senior Technical Officer-Lab. Services will provide technical expertise and assistance in implementing high quality laboratory services within the HIV care and treatment project in Nigeria, including laboratory capacity development at Global Fund project health facility sites.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • BSc in Laboratory Sciences or related field with 7-9 years post national youth service experience and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in provision of laboratory support for HIV/AIDS.
  • Or master’s degree in laboratory sciences or related field with 5-7 years post national youth service experience and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in provision of laboratory support for HIV/AIDS.
  • Experience in the management of laboratory services, particularly health facility-based services, including quality assurance systems, laboratory analysis, and interpretation and reporting techniques based on best practices, quality management practices and safe work practices.
  • Knowledge of advanced laboratory procedures, diagnosis and management related to HIV/AIDS care and treatment is required with some experience in an international development organization preferred.

  • Senior Compliance Officer the position holder ensures compliance with AHNi and funder policies, procedures, the management and reduction of general risk to the organization.
  • S/he will plan, perform and report back on internal audits to ensure that financial control, financial guidelines of funder organizations and other control procedures in purchasing, procurement and contracting are in place and are being properly implemented and managed within AHNi offices.
  • S/he will also be responsible for advising and monitoring quality standards and ensuring value for money.
  • S/he will carry out independent appraisals of the effectiveness of policies, procedures and standards by which AHNi’s financial resources are managed. S/he will review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, reliability of financial reporting, compliance with applicable laws and the safeguard of assets.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • BSc in Accounting or Finance with 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs that includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience in internal control function
  • Experience in financial reporting, and financial management systems applications
  • Familiarity with U SAID or similar donor-funded programs is required
  • CPA. ACA, ICAN, dMA, CFE or any other relevant professional qualification is required
  • Overseas internal control experience is an advantage.
  • MS/MA in accounting or finance or related field with 7-9 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience in internal control function
