Description

  • Meet the Key Accounts Sales and Orders targets;
  • Build strong relationships with key costumers and consultants;
  • Provide Key Accounts and Sales Team at Vertiv Nigeria with AC Power (Uninterruptible Power Supplies- UPS) expert knowledge while selling wide Vertiv product portfolio;

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field or other diploma / degree;
  • 5 – 7 Years’ experience in Key Account Management;
  • Experience in selling various product portfolio;
  • Experience in strategic Key Account planning, mapping key decision makers and building strong relationships with Key Accounts stakeholders;
  • Be based in Nigeria and hold Nigerian passport;
  • Specialist / Expert knowledge of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and Power Electronics;
  • Experience in developing Business either with End Users or through partners ;
  • Preference will be given to candidates already involved in Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and who have actively participated in UPS meetings, and have decision maker level contacts within this business environment;
  • Fluency in English written & oral;
  • Moderate Travel expected (30%-40%)

Responsibilities

  • Provide annual and then regular forecasts and action plans relating to their Key Accounts;
  • Provide annual plan on how to increase share of wallet and win new business within each allocated account;
  • Regularly update CRM with the correct levels of engagement both internally and externally;
  • Liaise with PSM team/Bid Management/Shared Services and respective COE’s on major projects;
  • Ensure products and solutions are qualified at customer level and driven through the specification cycle in coordination with the PSM Managers;
  • Define and manage key in country strategies whilst collaborating with the wider team (Global Account Managers) to form a common regional approach complementing the wider business;
  • Establish strong relationships with end customers and consultants whilst managing key accounts; including but not limited to: creating a map of key decision makes within specific account and plan of action on how to develop such relationship further;
  • Perform regular visits to end customers supporting their business requirements and working with the local teams to leverage on central support staff;
  • Support partners and internal staff through the MEA region to ensure strong team collaboration;
  • Ensure compliance to ITC and other regulatory requirements;
  • Plan, manage and participate in exhibitions, seminars and other promotional activities in coordination with marketing team;
  • Any other duties as deemed appropriate by your line manager;
  • Keep supporting Customers and Sales team with their AC Power knowledge while developing Key Accounts.
