  • The Global Fund is a 21st-century partnership organization designed to accelerate the end of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics. Founded in 2002, the Global Fund is a partnership between governments, civil society, the private sector and people affected by the diseases. The Global Fund raises and invests nearly US$4 billion a year to support programs run by local experts in countries and communities most in need. Since 2003, the Global Fund has invested more than 1.4 billion dollars in the fight against AIDS, TB and Malaria in Nigeria.
  • The Reading and Numeracy Activity (RANA) is a DFID-funded through UNICEF for early primary grades reading pilot project implemented in partnership with FHI 360 in collaboration with the State governments. RANA aims to improve literacy and numeracy for girls and boys in primary grades 1-3 in the supported states. It will assist approximately 100 formal Schools and Integrated Qur’anic Schools (IQS) in each of the states.

Job Description

  • Finance & Administrative Officer under the direction of the Senior Accountant, the Finance & Administrative Officer will be responsible for the provision of administrative, Finance and logistical services to the Finance directorate.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience is highly recommended.
  • Fluent communication in English is required
  • Fluency in local languages is desirable.

Job Description

  • Accountant under the direction of the Senior Accountant, the Accountant shall assume responsibility for accounting and ensure compliance with the contractual financial requirements of the organization.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 3 – 5 years relevant experience.
  • Or MS/MA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 1 – 3 years relevant experience. Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in accounting related to international development programs.
  • Familiarity with donor-funded programs and non-governmental organizations in Nigeria is an advantage. CPA, ACA, ICAN or recognized equivalent is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is an advantage.

Job Description

  • Senior Finance & Admin Officer will report to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for accounting and finance and overall administration and ensure compliance with the contractual requirements of Nigeria’s programs/projects with the objective of providing professional accountancy services consistent with generally accepted accounting principles.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 5 – 7 years relevant experience.
  • Or MS/MA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 3 – 5 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in office management and administration.
  • CPA, ACA, CAN, CIMA, CFE or any other relevant professional qualification is required.
  • Experience in managing financial records of donor-funded organizations, and familiarity with donor and local contractual procedures is an advantage.

Job Description

  • Senior Technical Advisor – Prevention, Care & Treatment will provides leadership and technical support to the Technical Director in the areas of PMTCT, clinical care/ART and reproductive health.
  • S/he coordinates services needed to implement high quality care PMTCT, HIV care and treatment and reproductive health/family planning services (RH/FP).

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • MB.BS/MD/PHD or similar degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience with at least 5 years progressive experience working in the health or development field in Nigeria
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in care and treatment for HIV/AIDS especially with ARV program
  • Possession ofan MPH or postgraduate degree in a related field is required
  • Proven experience in project development, planning and facilitating technical training
  • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.

Job Description

  • Senior Technical Officer – Prevention, Care & Treatment will provide technical support to implement high quality care and support activities with primary focus on clinical management of HIV/AIDS and Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS.
  • S/He will provide ongoing technical assistance in HIV/AIDS clinical management including management of opportunistic infections and PMTCT capacity building to all facilities benefiting from the program.
  • To provide technical support to SRs on Key Population Programming such as coordination of the HIV treatment services at 10 KP OSS facilities, support the STA on the conduct and documentation of all OSS trainings,
  • Assist in the selection and training of ART sites to be designated as KP friendly sites, conduct periodic oversight to monitor service delivery at the OSS and KP friendly sites.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • MBBS/MPH with 3-5 years experience in clinical care, with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of anti-retroviral therapy in resource constraint settings.
  • Postgraduate degree in Public Health is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGO5 and CBOs will be an added advantage.

Job Description

  • Senior Technical Officer – Monitoring & Evaluation under the supervision of the STA- Monitoring & Evaluation, for technical oversight, is responsible for the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for the country office.
  • S/he will work with others in the country office and state offices to ensure that monitoring and evaluation activities are appropriate and meet the donor and projects M&E needs, to manage the day-to-day administration of the DHIS from the back-end and responding to data modifications and Change Management Procedure (CMP) routinely across all the GF supported facilities including the PHCs.
  • This position will also manage some aspects of core M&E routine operations including Data Analytics on DHIS. Troubleshooting of data management issues and support to points of service.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • MB.BS/MD/PHD or similar degree with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in project- level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global Health Initiatives.
