Work directly with the Digital Marketing Manager, to ensure quality content is produced to drive the goals of the marketing team and ensure high conversions across Africa by collaborating with the rest of the Creative Communications teams.

Responsibilities

Design for consistent and seamless experiences across mediums that build our business and connection to our target audience across all Andela Locations.
Own the visual communication of the Andela brand across all digital channels and 360 Media.
Translate the Andela vision and values into brand elements that are cohesive, modern, and inviting.
Create brand assets such as logos, iconography, illustrations, color palettes, patterns and other design elements when needed. Work on a range of ambitious projects including, but not limited to, UI designs, content graphics, social media graphics, event collateral, print materials, internal collateral, infographics, storyboards, and illustrations.

Responsibilities
Strategy Development and Implementation:

Work closely with the head of Engineering Experience to understand organizational challenges and design/implement creative solutions

About The Role

Andela is looking to hire an experienced travel manager to support the Travel team in scaling operations within West Africa (Nigeria & Ghana).
As part of our business model, Andela’s software engineers travel for at least two weeks a year to our partners’ offices, predominantly based in the United States, with a few partners located in different parts of the world.
With seven offices on two continents, we also have other Andela employees traveling between offices every week and host our partners from time to time.
The Travel Manager will be responsible for managing and streamlining the travel program for West Africa while ensuring that strategies align with overall Andela & Global Travel KPIs will include but not limited to traveler experience, operational excellence & efficiency, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

Develop strategies to enhance travel within the region
Oversee and manage travel operations for Andela offices in Nigeria and Ghana
Design processes to achieve operational excellence
Collaborate with other regions to ensure smooth & seamless travel for Andelans
Quarterly review of travel operations to ensure process efficiency
Place a huge priority on traveler experience and design travel programs to improve and provide Andelans with best-in-class travel experience

Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

About the role

The Role of the Senior Operations Manager is to plan, direct and coordinate the company’s operations functions in Nigeria.
The individual will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness through the implementation of effective methods and strategies across all fronts in the Operations department and the business as a whole.

Responsibilities
Lead all operational elements of Andela Lagos:

Learn how Andela’s Lagos operations work and optimize and manage every aspect of our operations function
Lead the core-operations, facilities and procurement
Oversee the facilities and real estate team, including both office and residential  properties to ensure safety and security across locations
Develop and maintain highly detailed budgets and timely financial projections
Complete quarterly (or more) financial and operational reviews and reports
Responsible for the delivery of overall operational targets.
Display excellent leadership, people management, communication and influencing skills at a senior level

Build strong processes and systems:

Maintain and create highly-structured processes and systems with a data-driven approach
Maintain and create “playbooks,” detailed manuals that document all relevant parts of the Andela operating model; continually update and improve manuals in preparation for supporting other teams
Foster regular engagement with key client contacts in line with client expectations.
Identify operational best practice through interaction with the wider team
Ensure delivery of Client KPIs/Sales targets including day to day service levels, customer experience, quality measures and compliance measures
Collaborate with the Director of Operations to build systems and processes that successfully communicate all topline recurring indicators of success and that explain and troubleshoot any major outliers or obstacles to success
Demonstrate achievement of results e.g. business improvements, cost savings, revenue generation
Drive Business Continuity initiatives

Manage, coach and mentor a strong team:

Manage all operations staff members including facilities, logistics, and other cross-functional teams
Provide structured evaluations of employee performance at least twice a year
Design a well-defined Communication and Engagement model to ensure all teams understand the performance of the business and the needs of their teams
Develop the operational talent pool by optimising the skills of the existing team and ensuring a succession plan is in place
Forge a partnership with our internal recruitment team to identify and attract the very best external talent for key roles within the team.
Suggest and create job descriptions, screen candidates and make recommendations for any needed roles in addition to existing team

Qualifications
Ideal candidates for this role will have:

At least 7-10 years of post-undergraduate, full-time work experience
Experience managing operations, including detailed budgeting and reporting, in a complex environment
Experience rapidly growing /scaling a project
Experience developing and managing a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Experience managing and coordinating teams to deliver on a tight schedule
Work and living experience in emerging markets, particularly in Nigeria or elsewhere in Africa
Record of strong academic performance from a leading undergraduate and, if attended, graduate institution

Job Title: Travel Coordinator

About The Role

As part of our business model, Andela’s software engineers travel for at least two weeks a year to our partners’ offices, predominantly based in the United States, with a few partners located in different parts of the world. With seven offices on two continents, we also have other Andela employees traveling between offices every week.
Andela is looking to hire an experienced travel manager to support the Travel team to build a world class travel agency within Andela. This individual will be responsible for day-to-day support for Travel Management across Andela. The successful candidate will have travel management related experience, ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Enforce a business-wide culture where Andelans understand travel processes, have a clear understanding of the policy, and travel efficiently to minimise cost of travel.
Implement departmental agreed strategies and tools to automate and improve excellent customer satisfaction
Organize and present statistical data to ensure a cycle of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Also ensure proper tracking and recording of all travel related expenses.
Providing Andelans with seamless and best in class travel experience.
Monitoring vendor service delivery to ensure it is in line with agreed SLAs and best in class service
Responding quickly and proactively to travelers requests and resolving complaints
Ensure all direct reports and teams have clear objectives, conduct regular check-ins and review and ensure development opportunities
Contribute to the development of Andela global travel policies and guidelines as the business scales
Identify opportunities for Andela to improve/optimize developer travel as well as prepare and submit monthly travel reports as required
Review travel incident log on a weekly basis and prepare reports on incidents for travel leadership
Source for the best and competitive rates for travel service providers (hotels, car companies, agents etc.
Partnering with emergency preparedness vendors to ensure employee safety at all times.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s or equivalent degree
4+ years in the travel industry or similar industry
Must be detail-oriented, analytical and organized with experience creating, analyzing and managing reports
Must possess a positive attitude, strong customer service skills and a passion for excellent customer service
Good time management skills with the ability to multi-task even under immense pressure
Attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, handling last-minute complications while successfully producing results and work under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills with experience or interest in working with different cultures/ global teams are a plus
Diplomatic and patient.
