Job Title: Instrumentation and Control Engineer
Location: 
Port Harcourt, Rivers
Department: Engineering
Job Summary & Purpose

  • Prepare instrumentation designs and deliverables /conceptual, Front End Engineering Design (DEED) and Detailed Engineering Design ( DED) according to specification.

Organisational Relationships:

  • Reports to: Senior Instrumentation Engineer
  • Direct Reports: Trainees/ IT
  • Internal Relationships: All staff
  • External Relationships: clients

Responsibilities

  • Prepare instrumentation design and deliverables for feasibility studies, conceptual/basic engineering, FEED and DED.
  • Perform discipline-internal check (DIC),
  • Participate in internal and external meetings.
  • Participate in engineering design and safety reviews.
  • Provide input to preparation of tenders and Cost Time Resource (CTR) estimates for proposals.
  • Conduct Site visit and submit report.
  • Ensure strict adherence to QHSE policies and procedures and comply with safe work methods as required
  • Perform any other duty that may be assigned by Supervisor/line Manager

Person Specifications

  • Academic Qualification: First degree in Sciences/Engineering (HND/BSC, B.Tech., B.Eng.)
  • Professional Qualification: NSE/ COREN
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years work experience in similar role.

  • Familiar with control/safety systems like HIMA, ALLEN BRADLEY, YOKOGAWA, EMERSON DELTA V, INVENSYS-Triconnex is an added advantage.
  • Experience with PDS (E-Raceway) and PDMS is an advantage

Job Title: Architect
Location:

Department: Civil/structural
Job Summary & Purpose

  • Preparing functional and safe building designs according to specifications that match Client’s needs.

Organisational Relationships:

  • Reports to: Senior Architect
  • Direct Reports: Trainees/ IT
  • Internal Relationships: All staff
  • External Relationships: clients

Responsibilities

  • Preparing Architectural designs according to Client’s brief.
  • Producing detailed working drawings and specifications
  • Producing 3D drawings and other pictorial presentations for clarity.
  • Liaising with other allied professionals to produce functional, safe and standard designs that will stand the test of time
  • Specifying the nature and quality of materials required for a project
  • Preparing Bill of Quantities for building projects
  • Regular Site visits to check progress of construction

Job Purpose & Summary

  • Preparation of Detailed Civil and Structural drawings of Engineering using AUTO CAD, and other similar software.

  • Report to: Lead Civil & Structural
  • Direct Reports: Senior Civil & Structural
  • Internal Relationships: All staff
  • External Relationships: N/A

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Civil & Structural Detailed Drawings
  • Drawing, mark up and updating of Process Engineering Design documents and drawings.
  • Participate in all process discipline works to ensure timely completion of projects and contribute to overall company profitability.
  • Steel Roof Design and Detailing.
  • Work in a project team environment and reports to the Lead /Senior Civil & Structural Engineer.
  • Vessel / Tank Detailing will be an added advantage.

  • Prepare Process designs and deliverables for basic/conceptual, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering Design (DED) according to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Process design and deliverables for feasibility studies, conceptual/basic engineering, FEED and DED.
  • Preparation of piping & Process diagrams.
  • Preparation of data sheets and technical specifications.
  • Preparation of process simulations.
  • Process calculations (sizing of equipment, valves, lines and pumps, hydraulic calculation, blow down calculation, etc.)

  • Prepare Pipeline designs and deliverables for basic/conceptual, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering Design (DED) according to specifications.

Organisation Relationships:

  • Report to Whom: Lead Pipeline Engineer
  • Direct to: Junior Pipeline Engineer Trainees
  • Internal Relationship: All Staff
  • External Relationship: Client

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Pipeline design and deliverables for feasibility studies, conceptual/basic engineering, FEED and DED.
  • Knowledge of piping & instrumentation diagrams.
  • Preparation of Pipeline Alignment sheets / Profiles.
  • Preparation of data sheets and technical specifications.
  • Preparation of Pipeline Wall thickness calculation.
  • Review Pipeline deliverables performed by Engineers, Designers and CAD Operators.
  • Perform inter-discipline design checks,
  • Supervise and coach Pipeline engineers and trainees.
  • Liaise with other departments, clients, vendors, subcontractors and approving authorities on projects.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings.
