Job Title: Senior Audit/Regulatory Manager

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports and advise on ways of improvement vis-a-vis compliance methodologies and best practice to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitoring instituted controls and laid down procedures
  • Liaise with Regulatory’ authorities, including governments, Industry regulators and Rights organisations
  • Review, coordinate and implement audit plans.
  • Conduct risk assessment reviews from time to time, to determine key audit areas.
  • Conduct independent appraisal to review the company’s accounting, financial and other operations.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Engineering or any other related field.
  • Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 15 years; post qualification experience in accounts/finance/audit in a multi-national company.
  • Relevant experience in Regulatory and/or Compliance role, in Banking, FMCG, Securities House, Regulatory organization, Telecoms or Audit Firm is necessary.
  • High degree of integrity, confidentiality, confidence and ability to contribute to new culture.
  • Good knowledge of FMCG, Commerce, Telecommunication or Banking dynamics will be added advantage.
  • Ability to handle the pressure of working in a dynamic and result oriented environment.

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Financial Statements for Management decision.
  • Day-to-day management of the. Financial and Management Accounting processes. Implement approved accounting processes, systems and controls for products and services.
  • Ensure all creditors’ balances are diligently & completely recorded and accounted for on a daily basis.
  • Render accurate and timely returns to appropriate statutory regulatory authorities in compliance with all applicable requirements.
  • Plan, organize and implement accounting operations and objectives; coordinate and integrate activities t ward achievement of established goals-and Objectives.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Engineering or any other related field.

Job Title: Director, Legal Services

Location: Nigeria

Core Purpose

  • As Director, Legal Services, the successful candidate will be accountable to the Board On all legal issues.
  • S/He will also supervise, and give direction to the array of professionals in the Legal Department.

Overall Mission

  • The Director, Legal Services will oversee the Legal Department and ancillary functions. Perform this role in a multinational and diverse environment.

Main Activities

  • Broad based Legal Advisory functions especially in Commercial & Property Law
  • Preparation of Contracts and supervising. legal documentation of company transactions.
  • Oversee the Legal team for litigation or other dispute resolution processes.
  • Legal representation at high level meetings internally and externally.
  • Liaison duties with top government functionaries and external solicitors on behalf of the company keeping tab on all issues/cases to avoid reputational loss. Company secretarial functions.
  • Advise Management on the approach to settlement of litigation through court, arbitration or mediation.
  • Support the Human Resource function to ensure adherence to employment and immigration laws.

Pre-Requisites
Education, Knowledge & Professional Experience:

  • Academic degree in Law. Must be a member of the Nigeria Bar Association. Postgraduate qualification in Law, Finance and other related fields will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of twenty years cognate experience within a reputable law firm or organization.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Thoroughness of work and quality results oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure, priorities tasks efficiently and meet critical priorities.
  • Highly organized and self-directed comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability and willingness to work outside office regular hours.
  • High level of professionalism, maturity and integrity when dealing with sensitive information and issues.
  • A hybrid of remarkable legal practice with corporate experience will augment the candidates chances.
