Job Title: Lead Commissioning Engineer

Description

  • Assist the project to safely deliver seamlessly, within the project timeline & cost.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Act as focal point for all site related commissioning matters with respect to the Integrated Project’s facilities, to ensure readiness for operations in accordance with Projects guidelines.
  • Provide support on any technical query during execution stage to the design and project engineering teams.
  • Contribute to compilation of Commissioning Test Procedures or CTP’s, Operating Philosophy, O&M manuals, etc.
  • Manage interface points to define the limits of commissioning, operations and maintenance responsibilities and obtain early agreement by surface facilities and asset teams.
  • Provide inputs with reference to pre-commissioning, commissioning and performance test / reliability runs.
  • Provide support to construction/ commissioning teams in connection with the above.
  • Assist and manage a timely arrangements made for familiarisation and training of asset team personnel, as necessary to implement project schedules and facilitate smooth handover from project team to asset team.
  • Review (CTP’s), prepared by Contractors and ensure that final versions reflect the requirements detailed above. Ensure full participation and buy-in by the asset team from the earliest possible date.
  • Specifically monitor and report on the availability of process fluid with reference to the schedule for commissioning, performance tests and reliability runs.
  • Assist teams with pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for CPF, Flowstations, Terminal related to GTG and high voltage power lines pipelines and end-of-line facilities, up to pre-agreed interface points with surface facilities teams.
  • Review Contractors’ HSSE and quality plans in order to ensure compatibility with Standards and specifications.
  • Compile and issue timely, accurate and concise project progress reports.
  • Other roles and responsibilities include:
  • Compile the closeout reports immediately upon completion of the commissioning activities, highlighting areas for lateral learning and suggested areas of interest for the post implementation reviews.
  • Participate in the Company’s drive to enhance its asset integrity both from the design and operational points of view for the Integrated Project in the pre-start up phase.
  • Develop own skills and competence in line with changing business needs and technical advances in the discipline. Evaluate and capture new knowledge and learning.

Qualifications

  • 12 years experience in Oil & Gas industry of which at least 5 years will be in pre-commissioning & commissioning of major projects to asset handover using completions management systems such as QEDI/GoCCMS.

  • Position Purpose: Assist project team in delivering a Safe & Timely project at minimum cost.
  • Principal Accountabilities:
  • Providing technical advised on different process disciplined issues encounter during design stage, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
  • Providing technical solutions on any technical query related to process engineering issues as well as practical advised based on hands-on experienced.
  • As a Process Engineer will lead start-up team during plant start-up and ensure that the plant is safely brought into operation.
  • Providing logical approach on the job for early delivery of the project by assisting in the early identifications of priorities in utilities and process required for 1st Oil or 1st Gas and achieving flawless project delivery.

Job Title: Subsea Intervention Vessel Engineer

  • The SIVE shall be responsible for the management of HSE on the vessel, achievement of zero HSE incidents. HSE Compliance as per HSE Plan, safety rules, policies and procedures.
  • The SIVE shall be responsible for implementing the emergency response on the vessel, ensuring incidents, near misses UA/UC are reported. Implementing incident investigation procedure and managing the contractor’s crew safety performance on site.
  • The SIVE shall be responsible for the implementation of the work procedure, ensuring operating integrity and standards
  • Responsible as Company Site Representative (CSR) on location, to closely interface with Contractor Representative on the vessel, Asset Representatives in the field, and Activity Owner (s) to ensure offshore campaign are delivered safely, timely and within budget. Ensuring performance records are properly documented and maintained for bench-marking.
  • The SIVE shall provide assistance to the offshore project’s OIM in any emergency on location.
  • The SIVE shall ensure accurate recording of Daily Site Report based on actual times for work done, tools used, and equipment in a timely manner, non-productive times, vessel and equipment status, personnel on board
  • The SIVE shall report to the contract holder acting as Contract representative on site implementing the contract provisions on site.
  • The SIVE is the Main driver in offshore hook-up & maintenance activities (and other contract scope of work activities) and ensuring that they are executed in the most cost-effective manner in line with the business plan and in compliance with company policy and contractual specifications, procedures and meeting quality requirement on workmanship.
  • The SIVE shall coordinate with Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) on compliance to work management in the Bonga field (e.g. permit to work, FMS, SSPs, STPs, SIMOP) and communicate with the Contractor’s nominated representative on site on work executions.
  • The SIVE shall coordinate with company support teams at onshore with regards to resolving issues relating to Marine, inspection, telecoms, technical and material/logistics issues and resolving them wherever possible.
  • The SIVE shall track and control Daily Work Progress activity and resource planning to ensure offshore campaign are delivered on-time within budget. To propose recovery plans as necessary to mitigate project delays. Then, implement the approved plan onsite.
  • The SIVE shall respond to any emergencies that may occur during offshore operation in accordance with the established procedures.
  • The SIVE is responsible for capturing all execution issues at site/ Lesson Learnt to be included in Close-Out Report or AARs to prevent reoccurrence in future.
  • The SIVE is responsible for ensuring all backloads are dispatched from offshore with clear instructions; i.e. manifests. And ensuring load out requirements are clearly communicated to onshore support teams.
  • The SIVE shall mange contractors on site to ensure proper inventory of tooling is maintained and implementation of PSMs
  • The SIVE shall be responsible for quality control of work execution. And be the first line contact for contractor representative on site.
