Job Title: Pipeline Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Pipeline Engineer will be part of the TUPNI Project team who will oversee the execution of the Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Compensated Call For Tender (CCFT) and Engineering Procurement Construction and Installation (EPCI) phases, and will be assisting in the delivery of the Flowlines System and rigid spools scope, in accordance with Contract requirements, in particular the technical requirements and in line with the schedule, effectively responsible for all technical matters related to Flowline System (and associated ancillaries) scope;

To this objective, he will be in charge of:

  • Reviewing all relevant Engineering documents throughout the FEED, CCFT and EPCI phases, which typically include Flowline and rigid spools (if any) Mechanical design, Flowline expansion analysis, route optimization and field layout, on-bottom Stability Analysis, ECA, Lateral Buckling/Pipe-Walking Analysis, Free Span Analysis, Cathodic Protection design, Installation, Construction, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Feasibility/Analyses etc.
  • Assisting, in Qualification activities as may be required pertaining to the relevant components of the flowline system,
  • Assisting in resolution of interface issues as necessary, involving SPS, electrical heating system, installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning, commissioning etc., including the existing EGINA facilities.
  • Assisting in analysis of Contractor technical queries and preparation of comments and proposed answers to these queries
  • Assisting as necessary, concerning Flowline Systems (and associated ancillaries) and rigid spools, in the preparation of the technical aspects of the EPCI Contract.
  • Ensuring that Engineering activities are performed in line with Contract requirements, Project Specifications and Schedule during the CCFT FEED and EPCI phases.
  • Ensuring that Engineering activities are performed in line with TOTAL general specifications and prepare proper derogations, if required.
  • Ensuring that HSE requirements are taken into consideration during design.
  • Liaising with other Team engineers to ensure technical consistency of all interfacing systems constituting the PREOWEI development as well as the existing EGINA facilities, in particular the flowline electrical heating system, flow assurance, fabrication and installation feasibility, pre-commissioning/commissioning etc.
  • Liaising with TOTAL HQ Specialists, or third parties, when required, for specific topics (such as geotechnics, hydrodynamics, structural, material & welding, corrosion & coating, etc.) to ensure that these topics are adequately addressed when they concern the Flowlines system.
  • Getting feedback from other deepwater projects on Flowline Systems (and associated ancillaries).
  • Participating in various technical reviews (Hazids, Hazops, Project Technical Reviews etc …) and ensuring implementation of recommendations as necessary
  • Follow-up and provide engineering support to Project team during procurement, fabrication, transport, installation and pre-commissioning of the Flowline and rigid spools system

HSE:

  • To ensure that all safety and environmental required studies will be reviewed/updated and that final design will comply with ALARP policy.
  • To ensure that design will comply with all HSE requirements and that Safety and Environment dossiers will be provided to National Authorities in due time.

Job Requirements
Accountabilities:

Necessary Profile:

  • Graduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline MANDATORY (copy of certificate to be provided) with MSc or equivalent. Depending on experience, candidates with BSc may be also given consideration.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in pipeline engineering for deepwater projects. Relevant experience will include performance and/or validation of design specifications, performance and / or validation of detail design calculations for Pipelines, ECA and rigid spools.
  • Good knowledge of international design codes / standards and TOTAL general specifications
  • Good sense of organization, ability to prioritize activities, to identify critical aspects, to propose way forwards, to lead specialists or third parties, to summarize and present complex design issues including transverse and interfaces matters.
  • Some knowledge in structural, hydrodynamics and flow-assurance will be also valuable.
  • Some knowledge in material, welding, corrosion, coatings will be also valuable.
  • Fluent in English both verbally and in writing.

Job Title: Lead Umbilicals Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • During the CCFT FEED, the Umbilicals/Flexibles Engineer will be part of the TUPNI Project team who will oversee the execution of the CCFT FEED, specifically assisting the Pipelines & Umbilicals Leader on all technical matters related to Umbilicals, and Flexibles (and associated ancillaries) design activities performed by all the CCFT FEED Contractor Alliances.

He will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing all relevant Engineering documents, which typically includes cross section design, dynamic analyses, installation analyses, components design (steel tubes, armours, carcass, polymer sheathes, electrical cables, fibre optics, etc …),flexibles / umbilicals mechanical characteristics and capacities validation, manufacturing analyses, fatigue analyses, transportation analysis, pre-commissioning analysis, umbilical ancillaries design (Bend Stiffeners, Bend Restrictors, Topsides and Subsea Termination/Interface Hardware etc.)
  • Assisting, as may be necessary, in Qualification activities pertaining to the relevant umbilical/flexible components of the flowline electrical heating system, involving, review of Contractor’s existing qualification dossiers as well as new dossiers specifically generated for PREOWEI such as classical analyses, FEA’s, and also small and full scale physical testings/analyses to qualify the flowline electrical heating system within the background of PREOWEI functional requirements and environment;
  • Assisting in resolution of interface issues as necessary, such as umbilical/flexible terminations design, installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning, commissioning etc.
  • Assisting in analysis of Contractor technical queries and preparation of comments and proposed answers to these queries
  • Ensuring that Engineering activities are performed in line with CCFT FEED Contract requirements and Project Specifications

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in flexibles / umbilicals engineering (and associated ancillaries) for deepwater projects with demonstrable engineering aptitude.
  • Excellent knowledge of international flexibles/umbilicals design codes / standards (API/ ISO series in particular) and TOTAL general specifications
  • Good sense of organization, ability to identify critical aspects, to summarize and present complex design issues
  • Some basic knowledge in electrical / fibre optic cables, material, corrosion, coatings and hydrodynamics will bealso valuable
  • Some basic knowledge in flow-assurance will be also valuable
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work efficiently, prioritize in a fast-paced project and meet schedule requirements.

Job Title: Heating System and Flexible Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions
He will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and approving all relevant Engineering documents pertaining to the heating system equipment/components (ETH-PIP or DEH-Wet insulation), which typically include:
    • All subsea components – such as electrical heating wires/power cables (dynamic riser and piggy-back), subsea wet mate electrical connectors (including double barrier types), inline electrical splices and subsea junction boxes (electrical and optical), end terminations/connectors, cable catenary management systems (Bend Stiffeners, Bend Restrictors, buoyancies, etc.), cable anchor clamps, friction clamps, U-bends, Anode banks (Current transfer zones), and verification of dynamic analysis, etc.
    • Topsides components – such as riser cable hang-off and topside junction boxes etc., I-tube cable cooling system; and interfaces with existing EGINA topsides equipment.
  • Participating the Qualification activities pertaining to the various components of the electrical heating system, involving:
    • Review of Contractor’s existing qualification dossiers as well as new dossiers specifically generated for PREOWEI functional requirements and environment.
    • Following up on PROQUAL program (TOTAL’s internal system for new technology qualification and possible implementation) for the electrical heating technologies (ETH-PIP and DEH-Wet insulation) and follow-up the implementation of the attendant R&D/Qualification Plan, with Contractor alliances and Company HQ Specialists – Workshops, Equipment Qualification/Systems Testing etc.
    • Internal liaison/coordination with various disciplines (Flowlines, Umbilicals, SPS, Electrical, Topsides) to ensure that internal interfaces and technical requirements are adequately incorporated into the definition of Heating System Equipment Qualification Plan/testing requirements.
    • Reviewing the schedule for the proposed heating system Qualification and Systems Testing programmes,ensuring coherency with the overall Project execution schedule, and liaising closely with Management in this regard.
    • Liaison with Company HQ specialists to ensure conformance of proposed programmes with Company requirements or for approval when derogation is required.
    • Reporting to Management any issues and propose ways of resolution or improvement.
    • Assisting in incorporation of attendant electrical heating system Qualification plan and Risk Management Plan into the EPCI dossiers, in view of proper implementation/management during the EPCI phase.
  • Reviewing and approving all relevant engineering documents pertaining to the flexible pipes and associated equipment/components, such as cross section, end fittings, materials, bend restrictors, crossings, ancillaries, buoyancies, etc.
  • Assisting in resolution of interface issues as necessary, relating to the heating system and flexible design, with due consideration for fabrication, installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning, commissioning etc.
  • Assisting in analysis of Contractor technical queries and preparation of comments and proposed answers to these queries
  • Ensuring that Engineering activities are performed in line with Contract requirements, Project Specifications and Schedule during the CCFT FEED and EPCI phases.
  • Assisting as necessary, concerning the overall heating system and flexibles, in the preparation of the technical aspects of the EPCI Contract.

  • Ensure that relevant industry feedback/REX from previous Projects are considered in the design performance.

Job Title: Field Medic Offshore (Expat)

Location: Offshore, Nigeria

Job Description
Medicare:

  • Routine care consisting in:
    • Carrying out routine nursing care and procedures;
    • Carrying out consultations, drugs’ delivery and minor procedures within his competence under supervision and support of “Head Emergency & Field support” and CMO;
    • Handling medical equipment and pharmacy in the sick bay (equipment maintenance follow-up, stock management for drugs), paying special attention to emergency preparedness.
  • Emergency care consisting in:
    • Carrying out 24/7 immediate initial assessment and stabilization upon arrival of any patient with critical condition;
    • Immediate reporting to “Head Emergency & Field support”/CMO and initiation of the Medevac/Medrescue process in accordance with the CLIENT Medical Evacuation Plan (PLN-HSE/GEN-M09-54);

Hygiene:

  • Conducting with HSE Advisor the weekly hygiene visit in accordance with Company rule;
  • Conducting Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) procedure with the Camp Boss; o Ensuring that food samples are systematically collected; o Carrying out regular and random inspections of catering and food chain; o Checking water quality through regular samplings;
  • Providing hygiene education for all Catering personnel and checking personal hygiene;
  • Ensuring that all catering personnel have valid medical certificate; – Supervising pest control in catering and accommodation areas,

Prevention:

  • Induction of all new personnel on board upon their arrival:
  • Opening of a personal medical folder (medical history, chronic condition and regular treatment…)  o Checking validity of the AMC and recording the Fitness Certificate;
  • Raising awareness on hygiene, pest control and prevention of infectious diseases including malaria.

General:

  • Providing the OIM and the CMO with the monthly activity report and yearly statistics according established templates;
  • Keeping up-to-date medical activity records;
  • Alerting immediately the OIM, the “Head Emergency & Field support”/CMO of any epidemiologic event (contagious diseases, food poisoning…)
  • Attending HSE meetings

Job Requirements

  • Registered general Nurse AND
  • Certified and Registered Anaesthetic Nurse or Emergency Medicine Qualified Registered Nurse
  • 5 years post CRNA / A&E qualification experience required
  • Valid BLS/ACLS/ITLS certifications
  • Basic Computer + office Knowledge.
